Amouranth still top female streamer on Kick days after accusing Twitch of underestimating her worth

HOUSTON, TEXAS: It appears that Kaitlyn Siragusa, also known as Amouranth, has swiftly established herself as a prominent figure on her recent streaming platform, Kick. Following her departure from Twitch in July of this year, her viewership has been steadily rising on this competing platform, solidifying her position as a popular streamer.

At 29 years of age, ASMR streamer Amouranth has maintained her status as the top-viewed female streamer on the TrainwrecksTV-supported platform.

Previously, Amouranth surpassed notable figures like Pokimane to claim the title of the most-watched Twitch streamer, all while generating significant earnings through her OnlyFans endeavors.

Amouranth becomes most-watched female streamer on Kick for second time

Amouranth moved to Kick in June, following a wave of other content producers who had done the same. Kick had earlier spent $100M to get the non-exclusive contract of Twitch star Felix 'xQc' Lengyel. Amouranth's initial month on Kick was a smashing success, as was seen in the figures shared by @StreamsCharts on 'X'.

Similarly, once again the OnlyFans model and ASMR queen shot to the top of the platform as the most viewed female streamer with a great margin.

Kick topped 100M hours watched for the first time with 102.98 in August, according to StreamsCharts, making it a historic month for the game.

With 434,000 hours watched, hot tub streamer Amouranth played a significant part. To put things in perspective, the second-place show "Crystal" streamed almost five times as much, although it only surpassed Siragusa's figures by a small margin (81K hours viewed).

Amouranth's ascent to the top of Kick follows her previous criticism of Twitch for never offering her any "recognition" as the platform's top female user.

She simultaneously commended Kick for being honest and open, as well as for being receptive to ideas for the site's future.

When Amouranth didn't agree with HasanAbi

For streamers, the subject of gambling has been contentious. Twitch has previously prohibited several streamers from participating in online gambling, citing community rules.

HasanAbi, who has repeatedly criticized the practice, is a fervent backer of their bans. Kick, on the other hand, welcomes gambling broadcasts outright and gives users the choice of making them visible or not.

While HasanAbi claims if a streamer gambles, his audience is bound to follow, Amouranth believes otherwise. "It doesn't make sense to hold specific creators accountable for the choice of business strategy outside of their privy," the streamer claimed once.

Amouranth earlier expressed that Twitch’s “sin” isn’t trying to squeeze their creators. She wrote on Twitter, "Their sin is making a business model that doesn’t succeed except maybe at YouTube scale, but live streaming is a much smaller TAM than pre-recorded video (esp when tiktok won the ultra short form streams)."

Amouranth also suggested that Twitch must either find ways to expand its creators' available market or in other ways may develop more effective methods of monetizing content, as the current strategies are falling short.
