Andrew Tate: History of misogynistic influencer's alleged violence towards women explored

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate, a former kickboxer turned self-proclaimed misogynistic influencer, has gained notoriety in recent years due to his controversial online presence. Known for his contentious views on women, Tate has also found himself embroiled in a series of serious allegations, all of which he vehemently denies. Tate has been accused by four women till now.

Presently, Tate is confined to his residence in Romania under house arrest. Alongside his brother Tristan, he is the subject of an ongoing investigation involving accusations of human trafficking, organized crime, and rape. This arrest marks a culmination of events, as the self-proclaimed misogynist was initially taken into custody in December 2022. Despite his repeated attempts, his preventative detainment was extended by the court on four separate occasions until his release on April 1, only to be put on house arrest.

Tate is currently facing accusations of rape from 3 women

Earlier this year, disturbing allegations emerged against the 36-year-old Tate on April 13, implicating him in acts of rape and abuse against three women in their late 20s and early 30s. These women, who worked as webcam models for Tate in Luton between 2013 and 2016, are now preparing to file a civil case against him.

Their allegations detail a harrowing series of incidents involving rape, and other sexual and physical assaults, including incidents where guns were held to their heads and they were subjected to strangulation using belts. The women, who have suffered physical injuries and endured psychological trauma, assert that these experiences have significantly disrupted their lives and hindered their ability to seek employment.

What is truly astonishing is that the three women reported these incidents to the police eight years ago, leading to an investigation by Hertfordshire Police in 2015. During the investigation, Tate was arrested multiple times, suspected of raping two of the women and assaulting the third. However, after four years, the case was inexplicably dropped, and no further action was taken. The women claim that the detectives failed to conduct a thorough investigation, and their lawyer strongly believes that the evidence provided should have warranted a comprehensive criminal inquiry and potential charges against Tate. The gravity of the allegations, coupled with the women's previous attempts to seek justice, highlights the urgency for a proper examination of the case and the need for accountability.

Tate allegedly choked woman till she was unconscious

Andrew Tate faces another allegation as a woman came forward in an interview with the BBC. She recounted an encounter with Tate, also known as 'Top G', at a bar in Luton, UK, back in August 2014, when she was 20 years old. According to her, the initial encounter involved consensual sexual activity, but the situation took a distressing turn when Tate suddenly became violent and choked her to the point of losing consciousness. She further claims that upon regaining consciousness, Tate continued engaging in sexual activity with her. Adding to the ordeal, she alleges that Tate later made threatening statements, asserting ownership over her and subjecting her to verbal aggression throughout the night. Despite these accusations, Tate maintains that all their interactions were consensual.
