BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate, a misogynistic social media influencer, who is under house arrest in Romania, made his first appearance on Truth Social, a social media platform, on Monday, declaring that Alex Jones was "right" when he indicated that the government wants to make children gay.
Alex Jones is an American far-right and alt-right radio show host and prominent conspiracy theorist who hosts 'The Alex Jones Show'. Jones has been accused multiple times of promoting conspiracy theories and fake news. He supported Donald Trump's presidential bid and has provided a platform for alt-right radicals to thrive.
'Alex Jones was right'
After getting banned from social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube for breaking corporate regulations, Tate joined 'Truth Social,' an alt-tech social media platform created by Trump Media & Technology Group. It competes with Parler, Gab, and Mastodon in providing an alternative to Twitter and Facebook.
Tate remarked, "Alex Jones was right. But it’s not the frogs they want. It’s the kids." in his first Truth Social post on June 5, even though he had joined the platform in February 2022.
Tate then took to Twitter to praise the views of Jones and tweeted the same statement he made on Truth Social.
Tate's remark about the frogs was most likely in response to Jones' 2015 outburst on his show, in which he discussed government documents revealing that an Air Force lab in Ohio requested $7.5 million in 1994 to develop a chemical weapon that would turn enemy soldiers into homosexuals in order to break down morale.
'Turn the freaking frogs gay'
Jones has been promoting a conspiracy idea that chemicals are being secretly used to make people gay. "The reason there are so many gay people now is because it's a chemical warfare operation, and I have government documents where they said they're going to encourage homosexuality with chemicals so people don't have children," Jones stated, without presenting any evidence.
According to him, this enormous government conspiracy affects more than just humanity. Amphibians appear to be vulnerable. He once said during his show, "I don't like them putting chemicals in the water that turn the freaking frogs gay! Do you understand that?" "I'm sick of this crap," Jones said as he banged his desk, and added, "I'm sick of being social engineered. It's not funny!"
Jones claimed, “The majority of frogs in most areas of the United States are now gay,” presumably after years of being exposed to these secret government chemicals. Jones reaffirmed his support for this “chemical warfare” theory in June, claiming that the Pentagon had developed “weaponized perfumes” that “will make men attracted to other men" and that "they want you to do that so you don’t have kids."
Jones has reportedly informed that he speaks with Tate regularly. He also claimed that Tate was put up by the government for the purpose of "Exposing...what they've been doing with the deep state with children and everything else."
