Andrew Tate pledges to pay for Peter Hotez vs RFK Jr charity debate on vaccines: 'We're total Covid p***ies'

BUCHAREST, ROMANIA: Andrew Tate is the latest celebrity who pledged to pay for a debate between Dr Peter Hotez and prominent anti-vaccination presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr.

An ongoing Twitter debate between podcaster Joe Rogan and scientist Hotez over vaccine misinformation has prompted a number of people, including billionaires to give their two cents. Tate was referring to an offer that he heard on Rogan's podcast. The UFC commentator got things started on 'The Joe Rogan Experience' with Kennedy Jr.

'I’ll add 500k'

Tate took it to Twitter to offer his amount of payment for the debate. He wrote, "I’ll add 500k. But I also want to state a lot of the nerds who are anti vax now we’re total Covid p***ies at the start. A lot of them even took the vaccine."

While Tate offered money to end the debate, his true position on the Covid-19 vaccination remains unclear. Tate and his brother, Tristan, were first adamantly opposed to immunization.

A user reacted to Tate's Tweet and wrote, "Unfortunately this is not about these money because they realise the entire med system is at stake with this kind of debate." Another one added, "Andrew, this doesn't really say much because you're already donating $25M this year Jokes aside as I've said in another comment, I'm throwing $2,000 on top of this. We're up $502,000 now." He continued, "And I'll throw another $250 in if they discuss why Vitamin D was criticized and why gyms were closed. $1,362,250 in that case."

'Covid is a sensitive subject'

However, earlier this year, Tate said on Twitter that he would like to receive the vaccine. Tate, in an unexpected turn of events, acknowledged that there was "insurmountable evidence" in favor of the vaccine. Tate has already made a lengthy video in which he expresses his thoughts on the entire Covid-19 affair. Tate clarified his position on the vaccine and the role of the media in distributing knowledge about the new coronavirus on Twitter.

With this video and his commitment of $500,000 towards a hypothetical debate between Dr Hotez and Kennedy Jr, Tate has once again thrust himself into the center of the Covid-19 issue.
