The fast-paced, exciting game mode Flashpoint is set to make its glorious return to Apex Legends, after having first appeared back in 2020 before disappearing after a brief 14-day stint in-game.
With nearly Doom-like gameplay with a lack of healing items and fast gameplay, the mode is sure to be a hit when it returns for another quick run in the game. With Season 13 on the horizon, this new mode may keep the community satisfied until its release.
Flashpoint's central mechanic is the lack of healing items in the game, except for in specific areas called Flashpoint zones. These are large, brightly colored areas that are extremely exposed and as such are where the majority of the combat will occur.
Teams clash over these small areas in order to heal, which can quickly become an absolute bloodbath. The game mode is best played with teammates who can help respond to threats as quickly as possible, so it's a great game mode to play with friends.
The mode will only be available from April 19 to May 3, so anyone who wants to jump on the bandwagon should aim to play as many matches as they can before their time runs outs.
