Respawn Entertainment recently announced exciting updates for Apex Legends' upcoming season: Resurrection. These changes include new looks and abilities for Revenant, a human transformed into a killing machine, and Mixtape modes, like Team Deathmatch and Gun Run.
Ranked Mode, in particular, is getting some much-needed changes as well.
Apex Legends Season 18 Dive Trails Rewards Replaced
The developers are swapping out Dive Trails with Epic Banner Frames as an award for achieving Diamond+ Ranks.
This is because players with Dive Trails became disadvantaged due to their obvious locations as they were diving. As a result, other players would avoid or pursue gamers with Dive Trails at the beginning of a match. Experienced players can now flaunt their skills using the Epic Banner Frame without showing their location.
Don't worry about losing other rewards in Ranked Mode! Badges, Holosprays, and Waepon Cosmetics are here to stay.
Season 18 of the free-to-play battle royale is set to launch on August 8. A complete list of updates will arrive this Monday, August 7.
