CLEVELAND, OHIO: Fousey opened up about a critical moment in his life when Jake Paul played a pivotal role when he considered committing suicide and shared details about their strong friendship.
On the 'Bradley Martyn's Raw Talk' episode, the YouTuber also shared about other personal struggles he had faced, including the time when he faced monetary problems.
However, His revelation about Paul got the most attention when a clip from the podcast was shared on YouTube, as the Internet was stunned to see this side of the "Problem Child."
Fousey shares the truth about Jake Paul
During the podcast episode, Fousey started to share about Jake Paul by saying, "Let me tell you who Joe Paul is as a person. I'm about to expose the out of him," as the host added, "He's a terrible person, I don't care."
In response, Fousey stated, "I'm gonna expose him. It was about to end my life. I called Nakisa Jake Paul's boxing manager. I said it's over. Is there anything you can hire me to do? He goes, I'll look into it."
"I get a call from Jake Paul. What's up, Yusuf? How you doing? Not doing good Jake, the Deji fight really f**ked me up. I'm about to off myself," he continued.
"I'm done and he goes, I know the best therapist in LA. She's more like a life coach. She works at this hospital you have to talk to her. He connects me with her. I tell her I need to go to a mental health hospital," expressed Fousey, surprising the host.
The YouTuber-streamer proceeded, talking about how he was in financial trouble, saying, "I can't afford it. She relays it to Jake on his own. She calls me back and goes, Jake is gonna pay for your hospitalization. We don't want you saying anything. He just wants to do it to help you. Jake Paul paid and saved my life when nobody was in my life."
