'Drink Prime'
During the launch of the PRIME drink in Copenhagen on June 27, while engaging with fans, KSI enthusiastically exclaimed, "Drink PRIME." A few fans seemed to take their enthusiasm to the extreme, launching a spray of the beverage at the celebrity duo and even hurling them with bottles. This resulted in KSI being hit on the forehead, face, and hands and Paul being hit on the shoulders and hands.
Fortunately, security promptly intervened and escorted them away from the chaotic scene so that no one sustained any injuries. Despite the unfortunate incident, both KSI and Paul responded calmly, choosing not to become angry. Later, KSI shared videos of the incident on his official social media accounts, accompanied by the caption, "Drink Prime." He also retweeted a video posted by the 'Prime Drink' account, and humorously remarked, "That Prime bottle hitting my head was spot-on 😂😂."
'Crazy scenes'
The videos of the event soon went viral on Twitter, leading to KSI and Paul's fans commenting on the situation. One user wrote, "Crazy scenes, it will be interesting to see what @KSI's response is to this," while another wrote, "I've had only one so far. It was a little too sweet. reminded me of the snow cones syrup juice at the bottom when you finished the ice." One who wasn't happy about the situation stated, "these freaking kids learn no respect throwing prime in u." "i'm so confused on if they're throwing the drinks at y'all out of anger or if y'all told them to do it," expressed a user who thought that the crowd might have been told to throw the drinks. "It seems like getting hit in the face with a Prime bottle is just another day at the office for you bro. You took one for the team," remarked one pointing at how the duo kept on with the event even after they were hit with the bottles.
