NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA: 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Shannon Beador has not officially reconciled her relationship with ex John Janssen.
But, it seems that the star is looking out for comfort from her ex after her DUI arrest.
TMZ reports 'RHOC' star was spotted on Tuesday, days after Shannon's DUI arrest, heading up to her ex John's pad in Newport Beach, California. In the photos, John was seen wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans, while Shannon was covered in a black jacket. John opened the door for his ex as they headed up the stairs.
Shannon and John recently went through a messy split. And, their photos now circling on the internet make people wonder whether the two are back together.
An Instagram user commented, "I dont think they ever broke up. After filming was over they were together all the time. If she was at his house & they were arguing clearly he could see she was drunk & let her drive. Unless he was drunk himself." Another claimed, "Ex boyfriend? Pls! They’re back together."
Another wrote, "Ok I’m so done with Shannon officially now, she is canceled HOW U FINNA BE A MESS, talk a mess bout this man, get into fights wit everyone defending this man, then break up wit him… blah blah blah FIRE SHANNON asap!" "Thoughts? He should have gone to see her! Not the other way around damn," commented one.
Shannon Beador arrested for drunk driving and hit-and-run
Shannon was taken into custody on Sunday, September 17, for drunk driving and hit-and-run. 'RHOC' star reported to have driven her car onto a residential property on Staurday night.
The reality star allegedly struck the house with her car. Instead of stopping to see the damage, Shannon turned back her car onto the road. She kept going and later parked her car in the middle of the street.
Reports say that after parking her car, Shannon got out with her dog Archie. Shannon was busted after a 911 call. She appeared at the police station waste and was taken into custody.
Shannon was booked for 2 misdemeanors, hit-and-run, and DUI alcohol. The 59-year-old was then cited and was released without a bond.
Shannon Beador decides to seek treatment for drinking problem
After the DUI arrest, Shannon's close friend Jeff Lewis claimed that the reality star had decided to seek treatment.
MEAWW reports Jeff saying on his 'SiriusXM' show 'Jeff Lewis Live' on Monday, September 18, "I am happy to say that she is gonna be entering counseling this week, so I’m happy about that."
Defending his friend, Jeff added, "I don’t think Shannon is an alcoholic. I think as her close friend, I think she’s going through a lot of personal struggles right now, and I think that she probably has been leaning on alcohol, but I don’t believe she’s an alcoholic."
Why did 'RHOC' couple Shannon Beador and John Janssen split?
Shannon and her ex John were together for three and a half years. Things went south between the ex-couple after 'RHOC' Season 17 filming wrapped. People reports Shannon claiming that she "was blindsided by the breakup."
She claimed, "All I can do is repeat in my head what he said to me while we were filming. We were in a great place. But seven days later, when the cameras were down, it was a completely different story. He told me he was done with the relationship. And to hear what he said to me then was absolutely devastating."
Shannon was hopeful to spend her remaining life with John. She indeed wanted things to work out between them. She said, "I've never loved anyone like I've loved John. But clearly, he didn't feel the same way."
The relationship came to an end after John came to the conclusion that it was not a "forever" thing. He said, "It doesn't make sense to be together if you don't believe in it. Therefore, both parted ways for the better.
