LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The Pussycat Dolls seem to have their claws out as Nicole Scherzinger prepares to wed. Although Nicole, 45, gained notoriety with the iconic girl band, it is rumored that none of the band members would be attending her wedding to Scottish rugby player Thom Evans. Nicole announced her engagement to Evans in June.
The former 'X Factor' judge was at the center of the controversy after leaving the band as other members disapproved of Nicole being viewed as the lead vocalist; the group disbanded in 2010. They attempted a band reorganization in 2019 and released the song 'React.'
'There's so much toxic energy from that part of her life'
A source told Heat Magazine, "Nicole doesn't want to invite one and not another, only for those missing out to start causing trouble." The source, "There's so much toxic energy from that part of her life, she doesn't want to bring any of it into her dream wedding."
'Nicole feels unfairly painted as the villain'
The band's internal dynamics deteriorated in 2021 after Robin Antin, the group's founder, filed a lawsuit against Nicole for breach of contract. He said that she would not have joined a reunion tour if she had not received a higher salary than the other members of her band. The source added, "There's still so much bad blood there, it would be reckless to chance any of them turning up to the wedding, Nicole feels unfairly painted as the villain just because she was the better singer of the group and she doesn't have time for that pettiness anymore," as reported by Mirror.
However, Nicole doesn't seem to be bothered by the turmoil anymore as she appears to be deeply in love with her new fiancé. Thom also seemed to be completely enamored with her. On Instagram, the singer announced her engagement and shared pictures of the proposal along with the remark, "I said yes." According to the insider, Thom has been very encouraging of his future bride and is allowing her take the lead in wedding preparations.

Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thorton were the other Pussycat Dolls members. After swiftly gaining notoriety, they were one of the best-selling female groups of all time, but a reunion doesn't seem likely, especially at Nicole's wedding. Thom and Nicole have been dating since the beginning of 2020. She previously dated tennis star Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, as per reports.
