Larian Studios announced that Baldur's Gate 3 is being released in physical form as a Deluxe Edition for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
The third entry in the Baldur's Gate series has already won multiple awards and sold millions of copies. Now fans, or gamers who simply prefer their games to ship on discs, will be given the chance to purchase a physical copy of the game complete with lots of additional digital and physical content.
The PC version includes a CD key and installer (for a Steam) on a single DVD. The PS5 version ships on two discs, and the Xbox Series X version ships of three discs. Larian confirms the console version is "playable-on-disc."
All three versions of this Deluxe Edition cost $79.99 and will release at some point in Q1 2024. However, it's possible to pre-order the PC version, PS5 version, or Xbox version of game directly from Larian Studios website. I'd be surprised if retailers didn't get some stock to sell, but that all depends on how many copies Larian is able to produce.
