Bandai Namco Reportedly Working on Nintendo Remake/Remaster

According to a new Bandai Namco job listing, the company is working on a remaster or remake of a "3D action game" for Nintendo.

A number of job listings have been posted on Bandai Namco's Japanese website, as spotted by ResetEra. The listings seem to be for everything from planners to visual artists to help with "HD remastering of the 3D background."

Bandai Namco are perhaps one of the most well-known Japanese video game publishers, having been behind the likes of Pac-Man, Tekken, Katamari Damacy and more. What this new remaster or remake could be is currently anyone's guess for now.

The company is also no stranger to working with Nintendo, having assisted them with a number of projects in the past, not least of all Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Given that the company is currently posting job listings, it's likely safe to assume that we won't hear about this upcoming project for a little while yet though that hasn't stopped fans from speculating. Titles such as Kid Icarus or Star Fox Assault have been floating around in forums, much to the excitement of fellow fans.

Until an official announcement comes from either Nintendo or Bandai Namco, we're all at the mercy of speculation for the time being. Perhaps an upcoming Nintendo Direct could shed some more light on the project in the future.
