After hitting two of my three plays on Wednesday, I'm looking to close the week strong by backing one of my favorite starters in the league – Shane McClanahan.

Shane McClanahan to record a win (-140)
Tampa Bay Rays ace Shane McClanahan has a favorable matchup with the Kansas City Royals on Thursday, and the Rays are -365 favorites in this game.
However, bettors can get McClanahan (11-1, 2.12 ERA) to pick up the win at just -140.
I think that's a massive value considering that the Rays are 13-2 in the lefty's 15 starts and that McClanahan has registered a decision in 12 of them.
The Royals are awful this season (20-54) and they've lost eight of their last 10 games. Not only that, but Kansas City is just 24th in MLB in OPS against lefties.
McClanahan has allowed more than three runs in just one start this season, and I think he dominates this weak Royals team. Back him to record the win.
Esteury Ruiz OVER 0.5 stolen bases (+105)
If you haven't heard about Oakland Athletics outfielder Esteury Ruiz by now, then you're missing out.
The best base stealer in the game right now, Ruiz has stolen 39 bags in 46 attempts this season. He's absolutely terrorized the Cleveland Guardians in this series, swiping three bags in two games.
I love him to steal another on Thursday, as Cleveland ranks 29th (!!) in Major League Baseball in opponent stolen bases per game (1.03).
If Ruiz gets one, you can bet on him trying to swipe a bag today.
