The difference between a thriving baseball team and one struggling to reach its expectations is obvious — one fanbase will celebrate its heights, while the other makes excuses.
Yes, the Phillies are a capable contender which should make the postseason if all goes right. But for now, they are frustrated.
d'Arnaud and Washington shouldn't change what's been a year-long approach and celebration just because it offends a salty fanbase.
