LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amid the tumultuous journey through the highs and lows of her personal life, Britney Spears appears to be facing yet another challenge at present as she grapples with sleeplessness following her nasty divorce from Sam Asghari.
Sam Asghari filed for divorce from the singer on August 16. Their date of separation has been listed as July 28, reported OK Magazine.
Britney Spears has been 'flooding her system' by consuming energy drinks
Talking about the Princess of Pop's addictive habit of consuming energy drinks that flood her system, a source close to her said, "Britney drinks so much soda and Red Bull that she never sleeps."
"She likes the way the caffeine makes her feel, but it’s concerning how little shut-eye she’s actually getting."
"She stays up very late, sometimes all night long, with her mind racing, always saying she has things to do or insisting on going for late-night drives," the source added.
"Her team really wants Britney to rest, maybe go to a rehab that isn’t so much for substance abuse as a place to just calm her body down, relax, and rejuvenate," the insider said of the pop singer's team wanting her to take control of her alarming behavior, according to OK Magazine.
Britney Spears frequently travels to Las Vegas after her nasty divorce
Instead of seeking rest and recovery, the 41-year-old pop singer has been frequently traveling to Las Vegas where she feels more comfortable staying up late into the early hours of the morning.
"She’s been going to Las Vegas so much since the split. She loves Sin City because it’s so stimulating and she can be up all night there and nobody bats an eye," said the source.
Despite people around her worrying about her situation, the 41-year-old musician recently took to Instagram to address her split with Asghari, stating, "Six years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but… I’m not here to explain why because it's honestly nobody’s business!!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly!!!"
Spears, who is mother of two children, 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden James with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, married 29-year-old Asghari in 2022. The duo tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at her home in California.
