Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has reaffirmed his commitment to the club despite rumours linking him with a switch to Saudi Arabia.
Reports in Spain have named Fernandes as the next big target for the Saudi Pro League, with bids of €100m (£87.5m) rumoured to be arriving on United's desk imminently.
While Fernandes did not firmly rule out a transfer, he made it clear he is not entertaining rumours and confirmed he remains fully focused on succeeding with both United and Portugal.
"Being coveted is always good, regardless of the league and the club," he told a press conference. "But my focus is on the national team and Manchester United, I'm happy where I am.
"In the national team, we are in a very good moment. At Manchester United, we didn't start the way we wanted, but I don't think about the long term.
"I don't look much at market rumours, they're things I've never wanted to see. Until the moment something concrete comes to me, I don't care what I see. It's very easy for rumours to spread in the press. I prefer to be focused on my goals."
Fernandes, who turned 29 in September, remains under contract at Old Trafford until 2026, so United are under no immediate pressure to entertain offers for their captain.
Another United star on the Saudi Arabian radar is winger Jadon Sancho, who is likely to leave the club in January as a result of his ongoing fued with manager Erik ten Hag.
Sancho was targeted by Saudi clubs during the summer and 90min understands January offers are likely, although the 23-year-old is not believed to be interested in a move to the Middle East at this point in his career.
Indeed, Sancho's representatives have made it clear they will not be forced into talks with the highest bidder in January, with the player understood to be eyeing a move to another top European league.
A return to former employers Borussia Dortmund is Sancho's preference but is complicated by the finances involved in the deal, while fellow suitors Juventus may also struggle to afford such a complex deal.
