LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jamie Foxx’s recent ‘medical complications’ have unnerved his fans, who are desperately praying for his speedy recovery. The 55-year-old ‘Ray’ star was rushed to a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on April 11 when he suffered a medical emergency while filming Netflix’s action-comedy ‘Back In Action’ with Cameron Diaz.

Following Foxx’s hospitalization, there has been practically no information released about his condition except an initial statement from his daughter, Corrinne. She, previously, took to her Instagram to make an announcement, stating that her father “experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.” While Foxx's spokespersons maintain that he is alright, his inner circle is apparently growing concerned about his health condition.

Internet wonders if Jamie Foxx's condition has 'really changed' after social media message for fans

'We can't lose Jamie Foxx'

“Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems — but he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK,” said a source close to the star told Radar Online. The tipster also noted that Foxx’s medical condition is worse than what his team claims. “His friends and family are hoping for the best — but preparing for the worst!” insiders said, adding that “It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived. He is very lucky to be alive!” The latest claims sent social media into a frenzy, with many users keeping Foxx in their thoughts and prayers.

“Lord please cover Jamie Foxx. He’s such a talent such a perfect personality such a light. We need him! It is not his time! Please recover him and get him back on our TV screens with that beautiful smile. The world is not ready to lose Jamie Foxx,” one user prayed. “If we lose Jamie Foxx just cancel the rest of the year,” a second user said while the third asserted “We can't lose Jamie Foxx too soon, please pray for his recovery y'all. “Hope Jamie Foxx makes it. He has more talents and inspiration to bring to this world. The family and ppl are not ready to lose that man,” another user wrote.

Jamie Foxx was 'getting better'

These claims came after Foxx’s close pal, Kevin Hart, remarked that he was "getting better". He also discussed the reasons why not much information has been made public by the star's close friends after his sudden hospitalization. “They’re being tight for reasons just about where he is because Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree,” Hart said during an interview on the 'Impaulsive' podcast. Further, it was revealed that Foxx has been replaced by Nick Cannon as host of the FOX game show ‘Beat Shazam!’ Cannon also expressed concern for his friend and said, “Man, I’m praying".
