James Bender's family
James Bender and Roger Ortega, a loving couple, had a memorable wedding in December 2019, when they walked down the aisle together dressed in black. Their photographer thanked them two years later for capturing the event and described James as one of their favorite people. Roger, born in February 1966, began his career at Blue Cross of California and has been an accountant at Blue Shield of California since September 2006. Their Instagram posts together were discontinued after February 2020, so their current status is unknown. Sadly, his father, James Franklin Bender, a former naval officer, died on May 12, 2015, at the age of 84. However, his mother remains alive and well. James also has a beloved sister, the proud mother of Gracie Whisenhunt, who is now 19.
