Did Trump call for Hunter Biden to be killed? President's son strikes a plea deal on two misdemeanor charges

WASHINGTON, D.C: Donald Trump is campaigning to give President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, a death sentence while reprimanding the US Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss - who Trump himself appointed - for agreeing to a “sweetheart deal.” Hunter, 53, agreed to plead guilty to the two separate charges, federal tax fraud and felony gun charges, on June 20.

While the GOP has been calling out the decision ever since, saying it has been a “sweetheart deal” struck by Weiss, Trump has gone a step further to insist that Hunter should have been given a death sentence, as per the Daily Mail. It is important to note here that the death sentence is not an option of punishment for both the crimes Hunter has been charged with.

Did Donald Trump call for Hunter Biden to be killed?

The former president did not like the decision taken by Weiss to reach a plea agreement with Hunter. He reacted aggressively by writing on his social media platform, Truth Social, “Weiss is a COWARD, a smaller version of Bill Barr, who never had the courage to do what everyone knows should have been done.” Favoring a death sentence over the plea agreement, Trump continued to criticize Weiss by saying, “He gave out a traffic ticket instead of a death sentence.”

Trump, a Republican, appointed Weiss as the Attorney for the District of Delaware and was sworn in on February 18, 2018. However, two Democrat senators for Delaware, Tom Carper and Chris Coons, supported the decision. Weiss agreed to retain the post in the Biden administration to complete the probe into Biden’s tax fraud and gun charges.

Trump attacked Weiss sharply, saying, “Because of the two Democrat Senators in Delaware, they got to choose and/or approve him,” before pinning his hopes on the presiding judge to revoke the decision. “Maybe the judge presiding will have the courage and intellect to break up this cesspool of crime,” he added.

“The collusion and corruption is beyond description. TWO TIERS OF JUSTICE!” Trump further wrote, as per Daily Mail.

Previously too, Trump attacked the decision by taking to Truth Social. He wrote, “Wow! The corrupt Biden DOJ just cleared up hundreds of years of criminal liability by giving Hunter Biden a mere ‘traffic ticket.’ Our system is BROKEN!” as per The Guardian.

'Donald Trump’s own agencies that were colluding with Big Tech'

Amidst the controversies, Florida Governor and 2024 Republican presidential contender Ron DeSantis accused the Trump administration of “colluding with Big Tech” which ultimately led to censoring a story on social media involving Hunter's laptop. As per USA Today, some Republican lawmakers claimed that the involvement of the FBI in Biden’s favor could have helped in deciding the 2020 presidential election’s outcome.

DeSantis has said on Fox News' 'Sunday Morning Futures', “I look back at the Hunter Biden censorship, which was a huge, huge deal to happen in the 2020 election, and yet those were Donald Trump’s own agencies that were colluding with Big Tech,” saying that that he would "never allow that to happen."

DeSantis promised to overhaul the system if elected. He said, “We will end the weaponization of government. And that’s, of course, a new FBI director on day one. That’s the difference between me and Donald Trump. He says the jury is still out on FBI Director Wray. I think you need a new start on day one. We’re going to clean house at the Department of Justice.”
