LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Twitch star Felix "xQc" Lengyel recently expressed disappointment when his new relationship was made public. Despite being an online personality, xQc had always kept his personal relationships private and away from the public eye.
In the recent past, xQc has had a very public and tumultuous breakup with ex-girlfriend Adept. She even claimed that the two were married for three years despite xQc denying it. On the other hand, xQc reportedly claimed that she has been blocking his access to pay bills for his Texas house. After the couple's breakup in September 2022, xQc remained tight-lipped about his love life. However, rumors about him dating 'Overwatch' streamer Fran surfaced this month after she uploaded a picture of the duo kissing on Instagram and later removed it.
xQc wanted to 'keep things private'
xQc clarified that he didn't intend to share this information with anyone and wanted to "keep things private." Despite some accusations, the Twitch star added that he wasn't "dying to tell" anyone about it and that accusations suggesting otherwise were baseless. He clearly doesn't like it being revealed so soon, so it's unclear if he will be a little more transparent in the future. xQc said that he was frustrated with his new relationship being made public in his June 3 stream. He had always strived to keep his romantic life under the radar to avoid unnecessary scrutiny, but the news of his relationship with Fran broke out faster than he had anticipated.
“I don’t like it. I did everything I could to keep things under wraps and keep things private and I was doing a really, really good job. Everything was chill, everything was cool,” he said on the stream, adding, “Everything was exactly the way people always said ‘Dude, if you don’t want people to be parasocial and harassing dude, keep it private'." “I f**king did. I’ve been with this person for like a month now. It’s like being forced out in the open, it’s f*cking trash, Nobody likes that s*it. It’s annoying it had to be that way,” xQc explained further. Right now, it's uncertain whether xQc will become more open regarding his relationships, but it is clear that he is unhappy with the premature revelation of his current relationship status.
Are xQc and Fran really dating?
Fran apparently posted an image of her kissing xQc and proceeded to delete her Instagram account afterward. She wiped her social media presence clean, which led fans to believe she and xQc are dating.
Fran used to stream a lot of 'Overwatch', but she has since left playing the game live. Notably, she received backlash in 2022 after launching a profoundly questionable NFT project, shortly after the incident, she decided to stop streaming and move back home to take care of her parents. She resumed her 'Overwatch' stream a few months later, but this time she took things a little more casually and stepped back from being categorized solely as an 'Overwatch' streamer.
