Fans who have always shown a strong enthusiasm about their relationship naturally reacted with great joy after the news came to light. However, the Music Mundial article states, that the 'Spider-Man' actor reportedly came up with an elaborate proposal plan, but even though he did ask Zendaya to marry him, the outcomes were not what the actor had hoped for. Holland's source claims that in order to propose to his girlfriend, he planned a private dinner party.

Despite the fact that Zendaya appreciated all the work the 26-year-old had put forth, she was incredibly mature about the marriage proposal and told Holland that one of her short-term goals was not to wed. In other words, Zendaya declined the marriage proposal, as reported by Music Mundial.
Holland was reportedly a bit upset but understood how to handle the situation because, according to his remarks, the actor wants to marry and have a family as soon as possible with the love of his life. He is more persistent than before and will wait until Zendaya is prepared for marriage. However, there have been no other talks since then that support the claim that Zendaya rejected Holland's proposal.
