There's a very real possibility that Wednesday's game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Angels will feature Shohei Ohtani pitching against his future team.
But, let's put Ohtani's free agent destination rumors to rest for the time being. Let's focus on tonight's edition of the Freeway Series. The Dodgers took the 2-0 win in the first meeting on Monday night and now the two teams will wrap up the quick series tonight.

Ohtani is, once again, one of the better pitchers in Major League Baseball. Now, he gets to face a Dodgers offense that has been relatively cold over the past few weeks. In the past 14 days, they rank 24th in OPS at .676.
The Dodgers have a tough path to victory ahead of them tonight. Not only is their offense cold, but they're going to be rolling with Michael Grove as their starting pitcher tonight. Grove has been nothing less than abysmal this season, sporting an 8.10 ERA in six starts and 30.0 innings pitched.
Even if Grove can survive his start, the Dodgers will at some point have to turn to its bullpen, which has truly been one of the worst in baseball in 2023. The Dodgers actually have the second worst bullpen ERA this season at 5.01.
The Angels, meanwhile, have the sixth best bullpen ERA at 3.56.
