We hit the unofficial mid-season point of the Major League Baseball season, the All-Star break, with a crowded top competing for a World Series.
While the Tampa Bay Rays started at a historic rate, the Atlanta Braves have the best record in baseball and are the World Series heading into the All-Star break. Atlanta is bolstered by the best offense in baseball with the runaway MVP favorite Ronald Acuna Jr. as well as a Cy Young contender in Spencer Strider.
However, there are several viable contenders for the World Series this year with the Los Angeles Dodgers securing the NL West lead after trailing the Arizona Diamondbacks for much of the first half of the season. Los Angeles is +480, the only other team inside of +500.
Elsewhere, the AL West is shaping up to be one of the most competitive divisions in the big leagues, with the defending World Series champions Houston Astros lingering as a Wild Card team at +1000, trailing the upstart Texas Rangers in the division, but have the same odds to win the Fall Classic.
This is shaping up to be an exciting second half of the season, get ready for it by checking out the full updated odds to win the World Series below:
