NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly’s interview with Donald Trump may have gone well for the former POTUS but fans of the revered journalist are unhappy with her choice of attire for it.
The 52-year-old conducted an all-exclusive interview with Trump on her podcast ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ to dissect a lot of burning issues surrounding the former President.
However, despite an insightful 90-minute discussion between the two, fans found Kelly’s outfit to be a big problem for them, deeming it "unprofessional."
For them, Kelly’s all-black outfit looked more like party wear and didn’t sit well for a formal interview with an ex-president of the nation.

Kelly recently took to Instagram to share some moments from her interview with the former POTUS.
After some clips, Kelly posted a few behind-the-scenes snaps, which also featured the former Fox News host getting her hair done as her stylist held the hair straightener.
Both posed for a quick snap, with Kelly later captioning the snap, “A few behind-the-scenes moments of the @megynkellyshow interview with Trump. Visit megynkelly.com for the full story!”
Kelly was wearing a black mesh top with a shorter-than-knee-length leather skirt and completed her look with black heels.
She left her blonde hair open in waves and wore minimal makeup to finish her look.
In the other snap, Kelly can be seen standing while holding a few snacks in her hands while a third snap featured her interviewing Trump.
Kelly would have loved to have her viewers focusing on the contents of the interview with Trump but instead, they decided to criticize her outfit choice for a formal interview with a former President.
Viewers want Megyn Kelly to ‘fire’ her stylist over outfit choice for Trump interview
Kelly’s viewers weren’t entirely pleased with her outfit and questioned her choice, later calling for her stylist to be "fired" for this choice.
One person wrote, “I think you are great but I think your selection of attire was not appropriate. You had to know that an outfit with leather and a sheer top is not a professional look. You look fantastic in it, it's just not appropriate for interviewing Trump.”
A second simply said, “Fire your stylist!” while a third noted, “Expected a more refined & professional look as you interviewed the former President of the United States.”
Another person was a little harsh with their comment and wrote, “Whoever dressed her deserves 20 lashes in Singapore.”
A fifth stated, "Loving the interview snippets so far. Not loving your outfit though. Unprofessional for interviewing a former President.”
One fan of hers also said, “I love you but what is that outfit? For this event especially meeting with Trump. Wear a suit.”
