Why did Vanessa Villela leave The Oppenheim Group and 'Selling Sunset'?

Without slamming anyone, Vanessa claimed leaving 'Selling Sunset' and The Oppenheim group was a "mutual decision." Vanessa joined Netflix's reality show in Season 4 and was there for Season 5 as well. She opened up about her experience at the firm in an interview with People. The real estate agent turned reality star said, "I always felt like I was the new girl in school." Indeed, she was having a hard time fitting in with The Oppenheim Group. Vanessa claimed that she left the show as well as the real estate firm for the sake of her own growth. "They're obviously super successful and it's an incredible show, but I have to make my own life and make my dreams come true," stated Vanessa.

Despite leaving the show and the company, Vanessa does not garner any hard feelings. She says, "Obviously you get along really well with some and don't click as well with others, and that's the show." Vanessa claims that one of the reasons for her leaving The Oppenheim Group was to focus better on the off-camera experience. She claims, "I came back because I'm very serious about where I want my real estate career to go. I know that this is where I have to be to succeed in real estate."

Vanessa Villela joins The Oppenheim Group's rival The Agency

Vanessa started her career in real estate with The Agency. And, now she has returned to the fold. After working at The Oppenheim Group for 2 years, Vanessa is returning to rival brokerage firm The Agency. The real estate agent says, "I am super excited to be back at The Agency. It's where my career started so it feels extremely good to be back. It feels like home." The Agency is headed by yet another reality star, Mauricio Umansky, Kyle Richards' husband. Talking about The Agency, Vanessa says, "I am surrounded by incredible top agents, successful and collaborative people who work like a family." Working with The Agency makes Vanessa feels that she is in the "right place."

Vanessa was welcomed back at The Agency with an open arms. The star shares her experience, "It felt right, I always missed them. I feel in my heart it's where I belong. The minute I walked in, everyone welcomed me so beautifully."

Will Vanessa Villela appear in 'Buying Beverly Hills'?

She might! Even though the star confirmed nothing she teased her fans about the upcoming future. Vanessa labels The Agency's show 'Buying Beverly Hills' to be "amazing." But Vanessa did not come back to The Agency with the motive of being featured on Netflix's new show. The star explained as well as teased the fans, "I didn't come back for that reason, but you have to watch next season to see what happens."

'Selling Sunset' Season 6 is available to stream on Netflix.
