NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former ‘GMA3’ star TJ Holmes recently took to Instagram to share a few snaps of his preparations for the upcoming New York City marathon in November 2023.
The 46-year-old is an avid runner and often participates in marathons with his current girlfriend Amy Robach.
Holmes who had been keeping a low profile since his egress from ‘GMA’, only recently returned to Instagram.
The ousted ‘GMA’ star is now actively posting on Instagram and making up for lost time.
TJ Holmes shares snaps of preparation for NYC marathon
Holmes made a carousel post for his Instagram and shared three snaps with his followers.
The first one featured New York City buildings in the distance, capturing the city skyline with a river in the front. Holmes added an emoji of a running man to it.
Then, the second snap was a screenshot of his running route. It showcased the impressive distance covered by Holmes in a decent amount of time.
The ousted ‘GMA’ star ran 12 miles in Manhattan in one hour and 49 minutes.
And the third snap was a screenshot of his Spotify playlist which featured songs such as 'Trustfall' by Pink, 'Flowers' by Miley Cyrus, 'Leave Your Life' by Ed Sheeran, and 'Love is the New Money' by Andy Grammar.
This is the first time that Holmes shared his choice of songs publicly.
The former ‘GMA3’ host seems to be fully decked up for the upcoming NYC marathon which takes place on November 5, 2023.
However, Holmes will have his girlfriend and former co-star, Robach’s company who is also training for the marathon.
Amy Robach shares snap of herself running in NYC rain
Robach is also a big running enthusiast and is a certified marathon participant.
Only recently, the fired ‘GMA’ star shared a soaking snap of her after a run in the NYC rain.
Robach ran close to 16 miles in two hours and 26 minutes and burned up to 1700 calories.
She captioned her post, “Pushing through the rain and the wind today! #6weekstogo #nycmarathon”
The former ‘GMA star is extremely focused on her preparation and expects to complete the marathon with Holmes without any hindrance.
