TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA: A Florida man was arrested after he expressed his unhappiness for being pulled over by cops for speeding by flipping them off on Wednesday, August 9.

According to Brevard County deputies, Nicholas Kaseta, 25, was driving recklessly at high speeds on SR 528 East when they initiated a traffic stop by signalling at him.

After refusing to exit his vehicle, Kaseta eventually stepped out of his car, promptly flipping off deputies with both hands.

Why was Nicholas Kaseta arrested?

Upon interacting with Kaseta, deputies smelled an unfamiliar alcoholic beverage on his breath. Furthermore, he reportedly failed to complete field sobriety tests accurately. Kaseta was taken into custody on charges of reckless driving and resisting arrest.

In a similar incident, a 25-year-old driver was arrested and charged with DUI, reckless driving and resisting an officer without using violence after a high-speed chase. Brevard County authorities pursued the car on August 6, and saw that it was missing a front tire.

Sheriffs' deputies received a 911 call about the speeding vehicle from another driver. After pursuing the vehicle for almost 35 miles, law enforcement managed to nab the driver. They found the driver was "quite intoxicated," per the Miami Herald.

Dashcam footage shows the driver being directed to pull over on the shoulder of I-95. He responded by communicating using offensive hand gestures through the window.

Subsequently, he exited the vehicle after being warned that a taser might be used, while continuing to make obscene gestures. The rim of the wheel was falling apart by the time the driver was nabbed.

According to cops, despite losing the tire during the chase, the driver persistently sped through traffic with his hazard lights on. A bond of $1,500 was set in connection with the incident.
