A number of unreleased operators have been leaked, which weirdly seem to feature a selection of footballers.
As reported by Insider Gaming, known COD leaker @TheGhostOfHope has claimed that a number of footballers have been listed among a number of unreleased operators for Modern Warfare 2. Insider Gaming claims that they have been able to verify the list as being legitimate.
The full list includes:
- Aksel
- Connor
- Klaus
- Luna
- Messi
- Neymar
- Pogba
- Roze
- Reyes
- Gromsco
The report suggests that these names have been added as filenames, and could be an indication of a crossover as part of the FIFA World Cup. It's currently unclear how extensive the footballers' involvement will be in Modern Warfare 2, or what the potential crossover will entail.
Activision has yet to confirm the leaks, however the FIFA World Cup is set to take place later this year meaning that we could see some more information emerge over the coming months.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to launch on Oct. 28, 2022.
