NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former ‘Good Morning America’ star Sam Champion recently shared his "first-week" struggles of working on 'Eyewitness News' through a video as he flaunted his muscles while on an early morning swim in Miami, Florida.
Champion recently joined ‘Eyewitness News', becoming a part of the lineup, which includes Mike Marza, Shirleen Allicot, and Dani Beckstrom. The show has taken over the time slot that was previously occupied by 'The Tamron Hall Show'.
Sam Champion shares experience of his first week on 'Eyewitness News’
On Saturday, September 16 morning, Sam Champion went live on Instagram while enjoying a swim in the ocean along the Miami coast, displaying his toned arms as he held his phone above the water to connect with his followers.
The 62-year-old mentioned that he was adapting to the new schedule and noted that this week marked his first full one on the show.
He engaged with his followers by asking, "What did you think of the new show? Did you see it? The 10AM?"
He continued, "So, it's an entirely new concept, and I'm just curious to see what you guys thought," adding, "I think in general, it went well. We had a couple of first-week snafus, but really only one or two for the whole week."
However, Champion didn't elaborate further on the nature of those issues.
After leaving the water, he provided a brief weather update, mentioning that there might be a few morning showers but that they would clear up to make way for sunshine for the rest of the day.
In his Instagram Story, Champion also flaunted his abs as he snapped a selfie while standing in the sand, captioning the post, " A few am showers.. clearing for sunshine."
Sam Champion enjoyed a trip to Brazil with his husband before joining 'Eyewitness News'
Before Sam Champion embarked on his new show, the host took some time off to savor the last days of summer by enjoying a vacation in Brazil with his husband, Rubem Robierb, at the end of August.
On one particular morning, the couple found solace in swimming in a massive pool, and Champion shared a video of their time in the water with the caption, "A beautiful jungle pool... Rubem set up the camera for me!"
In the video, he could be seen standing in the pool with his arms outstretched to the sides, above the water, enjoying the picturesque setting.
Champion playfully leaped backward and waved as he gradually moved away from the camera. This action not only showcased the impressive size of the pool but also highlighted his well-toned physique.
As the scene unfolded, the song "Bim Bom" by Joao Gilberto played in the background, adding to the vacation ambiance of the video.
