NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: October ushered in another celebration for the LGBT community with LGBT History Month.

In an effort to recognize that, the interior secretary from the Biden Administration, Deb Halaand, came together with climate activist drag queen Pattie Gonia to share a video discussing the importance of the month.

However, Fox News host Jesse Watters wasn't too excited to realize that there is more than one month celebrating the community.

He went on to demand that there should only be one month assigned to each "group."

Jesse Watters attacks drag queen over LGBT History Month

While on 'The Five,' Watters argued that there was no need for another month like LGBT "Gay" History Month after June's Pride Month.

He slammed Pattie Gonia who had come together with Sec. Halaand at the Stonewall Monument to share the reason behind the celebration.

"The drag queen ranger Pattie Gonia?" Watters first went on to mock the activist, "Teaming up with Deb. They are doing this to celebrate Gay History Month. We just had Gay Pride Month in June. Now, they have their own history month. They have two months."

Watters also argued that it was unfair of the community to celebrate two months while other communities don't have longer recognized celebrations.

"The Irish only have St Patty's Day," the Fox News host noted, "The Italians, they just lost Columbus Day."

Watters went on to claim here that he was "technically" a part of the Black American community given that he was 1 per cent sub-Saharan African.

"I'd be pissed because Black Americans only have one month," he said, "They have Black History Month. And I'm looking around. Where did all these gays come from, building months up all of a sudden? That's not allowed! It's like ordering two entrees at dinner."

Pride History Month has not been introduced recently but first originated back in 1994 and was founded by a school teacher named Rodney Wilson in Missouri. October also has the National Coming Out Day.

Jesse Watters claims people are taking advantage with multiple celebrations

The Fox News host also attacked people with multiple marginalized identities for being able to celebrate several months throughout the year.

"If you think about it people are taking advantage because if you're a black lesbian, you get four months," Watters said.

"You have Black History in February; you have women's month in May, probably, and in June you have Gay and then you have Gay History in September.

That is a third of the year to celebrate yourself. Too Much. Too much celebration," he added.

Watters here seems to wrongly note that Women's Month is in May while it is actually in March.

He also went on to make a proposal for how the months should ideally be assigned to communities.

"They have to have one month per group, that's it," he suggested,

"And, I predict, they will have a gay month coming up. Either a trans month, probably a holiday where you get a day off. Remember you have Juneteenth. You are going to get a federal holiday where we don't have to come to work. Well...some of us won't have to come to work."
