NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Garth Brooks opened up about selling Bud Light at his new bar in Nashville amid the backlash which caused a "little bit of a stir". The country music superstar said he would serve "every brand of beer" in the bar which is yet to be opened.

After his interview with a Billboard reporter, conservatives slammed Brooks after his comments were interpreted as that he would serve Bud Light at his bar in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk. The beer has topped the headlines after its controversial product endorsement by a transgender influencer named Dylan Mulvaney, according to Daily Mail.

'If you come into this house, love one another'

Brooks was slammed online after he confirmed he will serve all beers at his upcoming bar. "Our thing is this: If you come into this house, love one another. If you're an a*****e, there are plenty of other places on Lower Broadway to go," said the country star.

On Monday, June 12, Brooks went live on Facebook where he clarified his stance on the issue as he commented, "Diversity. Inclusive. That's me. That's always been me. Everybody's got their opinions. But inclusiveness is always going to be me."

"I think diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming. So, I love diversity. All-inclusive, so all are welcome. I understand that might not be other people's opinions, but that's OK, man. They have their opinions. They have their beliefs. I have mine," Brooks added.

'Come in with an open mind and it's cool'

Brooks also shared that the decision on what type of beer is to be sold will ultimately be up to the bar's patrons. "The truth is, it's those people in those seats that make those decisions. And that's what Friends in Low Places is going to be," he said and added, "So here's the deal: If you want to come to Friends in Low Places, come in, but come in with love. Come in with tolerance, and patience. Come in with an open mind, and it's cool."

"If you're one of those people that just can't do that, I get it. If you ever are one of those people that want to try it, come. Let's go have some fun," he continued. The songwriter has not yet disclosed the date of the opening of his new bar. The Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk's website has only shared that it will be "opening soon."
