NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ host Whit Johnson recently revealed that he suffered a knee injury after getting into a heated dance-off with Robin Roberts’ nephew Jeremiah at her wedding in New York.
The 41-year-old ‘GMA’ weekend anchor flaunted his smooth moves at Roberts’ wedding with Amber Laign and turned out to be the life of the party after he took to the dance floor.
Johnson was seen busting out his moves on the dance floor smoothly and later, got into a dance-off with Jeremiah who complimented him throughout for his skills.
However, this burst of excitement on the dance floor led to a slight mishap which Johnson later acknowledged. He informed fans that he was “left icing his knees” after dancing too much at Roberts’ wedding.

Roberts and her long-time partner Amber Laign tied the knot recently after 18 years of togetherness.
The couple held a grand celebration over the weekend and Johnson turned out to be the one making the most of it. He was seen shaking his butt and popping his hips during a dance-off with Roberts's nephew Jeremiah on her big day.
Roberts shared a video of Johnson’s moves, which started with Jeremiah inviting him to dance into the middle of a circle of guests.
Whit happily obliged, rushed into the center, and stuck his butt out as he danced to the music.
After showcasing his groovy moves, the ‘GMA’ weekend anchor did the running man before bursting into an energetic hopping routine with Jeremiah.
The crowd couldn’t help but hoot and cheer for Johnson who looked completely lost in the moment with his ultimate dance moves.
Roberts captioned the video, “DJ Valentina (@dj_valentina ) is amazing! Had everyone on the dance floor alllll night! An epic dance-off between my nephew Jeremiah and…Whit Johnson!”
Johnson later took to the comments section and admitted, “Been icing my knee for 48 hours now!! Truly a beautiful wedding reception full of love.”

None of the fans expected a dance-off between Johnson and Roberts’ nephew. They had no idea about the ‘GMA’ host’ ability to set the dance floor on fire with his moves.
However, it did happen and many were surprised. They took to social media and commented on Johnson's dancing skills.
