Having been long teased for Nintendo Switch Online, the GoldenEye 007 Switch port finally has a release date.
A well-loved Nintendo 64 classic, GoldenEye 007 was revealed to be heading to Nintendo Switch as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. The game joins a line-up of iconic 90's titles, including: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64 and Banjo-Kazooie.
Way back in Nov. 2021, players were alerted to a possible port after the game was unbanned in Germany. Nintendo's European eShop is based in Germany, and any game that is to be sold to the European market has to pass the country's checks. Almost a year later, Nintendo announced that the port would finally be coming to Nintendo Switch.
Earlier today, Nintendo specified exactly when we'd all be reunited with GoldenEye 007 and it just so happens to be very soon.
GoldenEye 007 Nintendo Switch Online Release Date
GoldenEye 007 will be available to play as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription on Jan. 27, 2023.
The game will also feature an online multiplayer mode, available on the same day as the port's release.
