Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been suspended from all football-related activity with immediate effect for eight months and fined £50,000, the FA has announced. The England international was charged with 262 breaches of the Football Association’s betting rules between 25 February 2017 and 23 January 2021. The FA withdrew 30 of the breaches, and he admitted to the remaining 232. His sanctions were imposed by an independent Regulatory Commission following a hearing. Toney can return to training only with his club for the final four months of his suspension, starting from 17 September 2023. Brentford issued a statement, saying: “Brentford FC notes the decision of an independent Regulatory Commission to issue an eight-month ban from all football and football-related activity to Ivan Toney with immediate effect.” The 27-year-old, who has scored 20 goals for Brentford in the Premier League this season was charged with breaking FA rule E8, which refers to players being barred from betting on games or sharing information for betting purposes. Newcastle and England defender Kieran Trippier was handed a 10 week ban in December 2020 for giving information out for others to bet on his transfer to Atletico Madrid from Tottenham. A mother has divided TikTok after saying she spray-tanned her baby – but it's not all that it seems. In a viral clip posted to the platform, Kylen Suttner claimed to have given her baby, Suede, a golden glow. "When everyone is telling me to stop self-tanning my baby but the loving tan employees have families to feed," she wrote over the clip that has racked up almost a million views. It didn't take long for fellow TikTokers to chime in, slamming the 21-year-old mother about her "decision". A second sarcastically joked how they wish they had Suede's glow. Meanwhile, many more took to TikTok to compliment Suede on how adorable he is. "I can't get over how cute he is," one wrote. The jury in E Jean Carroll’s civil rape trial against Donald Trump will soon decide whether or not the former president raped and defamed the magazine columnist. Both sides delivered closing arguments in a Manhattan courtroom on Monday, with Ms Carroll’s lawyer Roberta Kaplan using Mr Trump’s own words – “grab ’em by the pussy” – against him. “In a real sense, Donald Trump is a witness against himself,” she said.
