TikTok influencer 'Narco Queen' shot dead in broad daylight
A 24-year-old “narco influencer” with hundreds of thousands of social media followers has reportedly been shot dead in broad daylight. At least two hitmen opened fire on Sabrina Durán Montero as she sat in a car in Padre Hurtado, Chile, on Tuesday morning (24 October). The killers made off with the vehicle, which was later found burnt out about half an hour’s drive away in Quilicura. Sabrina was rushed to a local hospital with at least eight gunshot wounds. Medics were tragically unable to save her life. Local media say she was a notorious local drug trafficker who went by the alias “La Ina”. Police believe her killing may have been a settling of scores by a rival gang. Police chief Leonel Muñoz stated on Tuesday that Sabrina “had a criminal record, specifically for receiving stolen vehicles and drug trafficking, and had been released from serving a sentence approximately a month ago”. She was reportedly on parole at the time of her death. Her final TikTok was shared to her 575,000 followers just 4 days ago. @katrinagusman ???antonella marchant?????nooo k rikos sus aroma no a mi me encanto todo todo ????#@Morales Chanel ??sigan la y compren sus productos ???? Sabrina and her two brothers were arrested at the beginning of 2023 on suspicion of supplying, distributing and trafficking cannabis, cocaine, MDMA, and magic mushrooms. During her time behind bars, she reportedly began a same-sex relationship with her cellmate, Antonella Marchant. Antonella, leader of the notorious Los Marchant clan, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after her arrest in 2021. At the time of writing, Sabrina had 431,000 followers on TikTok, where she also went by the names Katrina Gusman and Juakina Gusman. Many of her selfie videos have been watched millions of times. The hitmen were still at large at the time of reporting. The investigation continues. KSI vs Tommy Fury: Ringwalk time revealed and how you can watch online
KSI vs Tommy Fury: Ringwalk time revealed and how you can watch online
YouTuber and rapper KSI (real name Olajide “JJ” Olatunji) hopes to build upon his “legacy”, while Love Island star Tommy Fury plans to bring an end to influencer boxing, as the fighters prepare to battle it out in the ring on Saturday. The match forms part of ‘The Prime Card’, billed as such because KSI’s rival turned business partner Logan Paul's bout against mixed martial artist Dillon Danis is the co-main event. Hype has already been building around the fights after Danis shared a series of images of Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, nude, and with other men on Twitter (now known as X) – a move which sparked controversy online. Meanwhile, fans will be waiting to see if KSI can do what rival boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul couldn’t and defeat Fury in the ring. As if that wasn’t enough, things intensified following a dramatic first press conference back in August, which was brought to an abrupt close when John Fury flipped over tables in anger. Now, with it being just days away from the event at Manchester Arena, here’s what’s coming up and how you can watch all the action. When is the KSI vs Tommy Fury fight? The event kicks off at 7pm GMT on Saturday (October 14), with streaming site DAZN saying the ringwalks for the main event – that’s KSI vs Tommy Fury – taking place at approximately 11:25pm UK time (6:25pm ET), though this could change depending on how long the undercard fights take. A poster shared to X by KSI on Sunday said the main event is scheduled to start “approximately five hours later” after the 7pm start time, which takes it to midnight. Either way, it’ll be a long, busy night for boxing fans. Who’s on the undercard? And before the two big names have their fights, there’s several bouts listed on the undercard. These are: Salt Papi vs Slim Deen the Great vs Walid Sharks 2 King Kenny vs Anthony Taylor Whindersson Nunes vs My Mate Nate Wassabi Lmao (Alex Wassabi and Nichlmao) vs Los Pinedas Coladas (Luis Pineda and B Dave) Astrid Wett vs Alexia Grace Swarmz vs Ryan Taylor 2 Chase DeMoor vs Tempo Arts S-X vs DTG Where can I watch the fight? Unless you managed to nab a ticket to the sold-out event in Manchester, the main way of watching the fight is through the streaming platform DAZN, with the pay-per-view (PPV) priced at £19.99 for UK viewers and $54.99 for US subscribers. The full list of available countries can be found on DAZN’s website. In addition to the PPV, though, viewers will be required to have a DAZN subscription. The three options are: Monthly Saver: £1.00 for the first month, then £9.99 a month – it can only be cancelled after 12 months Flexible Pass: £5.00 for the first month, then £19.99 a month – it can be cancelled anytime with 30 days' notice. Annual Super Saver: £99.99 upfront for a year. It’s also been reported that cinemas will screen the event through the company Unique X, though it’s not clear which UK venues will be showing the fights (we’ve spotted listings in Birmingham and Stockport at first). What else is happening this fight week? There’s the open workout on Wednesday, undercard and main event press conferences on Thursday, the weigh-in on Friday and a celebrity countdown show just before the event on Saturday. Luis Rubiales sends Fifa new video of Jenni Hermoso laughing over kiss on team bus
Luis Rubiales sends Fifa new video of Jenni Hermoso laughing over kiss on team bus
Luis Rubiales has sent new video to Fifa appearing to show Jenni Hermoso laughing over his infamous kiss, as the Spanish Football Federation president continues to desperately cling to power. Rubiales was suspended from all football-related activity for 90 days while Fifa investigates the incident, in which he grabbed Spain forward Hermoso and kissed her on the lips during the World Cup final presentation in Sydney. He was also seen handling other players and kissing them on the cheek in the aftermath of the 1-0 victory over England, and footage also showed him grabbing his crotch in an aggressive celebration. Rubiales has received widespread condemnation from across sport and politics, including the prime minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez, but he has denied wrongdoing, insisting the kiss was consensual and refusing to resign in a dramatic press conference. His mother has gone on hunger strike in protest against the “witch-hunt” and is currently being treated in hospital. The Spanish FA initially tried to point to still photos indicating Hermoso had lifted Rubiales off the ground in celebration and thus initiated the kiss. Now footage has emerged of the player laughing with teammates on the team bus after the final while holding up a meme on her phone which poked fun at the incident. The meme compared the Rubiales incident alongside a photo of former Spanish men’s goalkeeper Iker Casillas kissing reporter and then girlfriend Sara Carbonero. In the video, Hermoso can be seen smiling as she shows the image while some of her teammates chant “beso”, meaning kiss, and “presi”, referring to the FA president Rubiales. A member of Rubiales’ camp told the DailyMail that they believed the video to be “gold dust” in his defence against both Fifa’s investigation into his conduct and any potential criminal charge of sexual assault, which the Spanish police authorities are exploring. However, Hermoso has insisted the kiss was not consensual and that both herself and her friends and family were “pressured” to speak out in support of Rubiales. She criticised the “manipulative, hostile and controlling culture” of the Spanish national team. “I have to state that I have been under continuous pressure to come up with a statement that could justify the act of Mr Luis Rubiales,” Hermoso said in a statement on Twitter. “Not only that, but in different ways and through different people, the RFEF has pressured those around me (family, friends, colleagues, etc.) to give testimony that had little or nothing to do with my feelings. “It is not up to me to evaluate communication and integrity practices, but I am sure that as the world champion national team we do not deserve such a manipulative, hostile and controlling culture. This type of incident joins a long list of situations that we players have been denouncing in recent years, so this event, in which I have been involved, is just the straw that breaks the camel’s back and what everyone has been able to see. But attitudes like this have been part of the day-to-day life of our team for years. “For all these reasons, I want to reinforce the position I took from the beginning, considering that I do not have to support the person who has committed this action against my will, without respecting me, at a historic moment for me and for women’s sport.” Meanwhile Uefa, of which Rubiales is a vice-president, has finally broken its silence over the incident. Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin described the behaviour Rubiales as “inappropriate” – but called for Fifa’s investigation to be allowed to run its course.
