Trump moans criminal cases are keeping him from the campaign trail: ‘Must be Unconstitutional?’
Trump moans criminal cases are keeping him from the campaign trail: ‘Must be Unconstitutional?’
Donald Trump is now complaining that the myriad of criminal cases against him are keeping him from the campaign trail, claiming that it must be “unconstitutional”. On Truth Social on Friday morning, Mr Trump moaned that President Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland had filed “bogus cases against me so it becomes difficult for me to campaign. Nothing like this has every happened before. Must be Unconstitutional? BUT SOMEHOW, WE WILL WIN IT ALL!!!” The investigation into Mr Trump is being led by Special Counsel Jack Smith, a role which provides the investigator with more independence. Also on Friday, Mr Trump hit out at Fox News, which he claimed was ignoring polls in which he leads President Joe Biden and primary rival Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. “Why is it that Fox & Friends refuses to put up all of the polls where I am beating Biden, and DeSanctimonious is getting clobbered? He’s also down to me by 40 plus points, and not coming back. No wonder their ratings are way down!!!” he wrote. Just before 8.30am on Friday, the morning after his arraignment in Washington, DC on four charges in relation to his attempts to overturn the 2020 election, Mr Trump wrote: “CRAZY! My political opponent has hit me with a barrage of weak lawsuits, including D.A., A.G., and others, which require massive amounts of my time & money to adjudicate.” “Resources that would have gone into Ads and Rallies, will now have to be spent fighting these Radical Left Thugs in numerous courts throughout the Country,” he added. “I am leading in all Polls, including against Crooked Joe, but this is not a level playing field. It is Election Interference, & the Supreme Court must intercede. MAGA!” More follows...

Doctor's warn of the psychological impact of peeing in the shower
Doctor's warn of the psychological impact of peeing in the shower
A doctor has urged people to stop peeing in the shower as it could cause a slight problem in the future. Urogynaecologist Dr Teresa Irwin turned to her 91,000 TikTok followers to offer her expertise, where she claims that peeing while showering can trick your brain into thinking you need the toilet every time you hear running water. "You don't want to do it all the time because what happens is every time you hear the sound of water, your bladder is going to want to pee - because it's used to hearing the sound of the water in the shower," she told her viewers. "So whenever you're washing your hands, washing the dishes, your bladder is going to be salivating, so to speak, because it wants to go and pee." Sign up for our free Indy100 weekly newsletter @dr.teresa.irwin I said what I said! Unless you're struggling with total bladder emptying you need to hear this #bladdertips #pft #obgyn It comes after another doctor reiterated Dr Teresa's claims on social media. Dr Alicia Jeffrey-Thomas, a Boston-based pelvic floor therapist, said: "If you pee while the water is running, then you're creating an association in your brain between the sound of running water and having to pee." She also went on to say that those born with female anatomy were not created "to pee standing up." Professor Ajay Rane, Townsville Hospital's Director of Urogynaecology and Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at James Cook University said they had conducted research into the "most appropriate posture" for women sitting on the toilet. "The appropriate posture is to sit on the toilet with your feet flat on the ground," Prof. Rane said at the US 2004 Urogynaecology Society Meeting on 'The Perfect Pee' back in 2004. He also said that feet flat on the ground "promote relaxation of your thigh muscles and your pelvic muscles." Rane further added that elbows should be on the knees as people "lean forward as if you are reading a newspaper on the floor" which helps to empty "both your bowel and bladder." Casemiro to miss Manchester United’s trip to Sheffield United with ‘small issue’
Casemiro to miss Manchester United’s trip to Sheffield United with ‘small issue’
Casemiro will miss Manchester United’s trip to Sheffield United on Saturday after sustaining a “small issue” while playing for Brazil, the club have said. The midfielder was in action for his country in World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela last Friday and then Uruguay five days later. In an update on players on United’s official website following a session at their training ground on Thursday, the club said: “Casemiro was absent, having remained in Brazil, on the club’s advice, to recover as swiftly as possible from a small issue picked up while playing for his country. “He will be unavailable for Saturday’s game with the Blades but is expected back at Carrington early next week to resume training, although he is suspended for the Champions League encounter with FC Copenhagen at Old Trafford (on Tuesday), after being sent off in the defeat to Galatasaray.” United also revealed Raphael Varane was working with the squad again after being absent for the 2-1 win over Brentford prior to the international break. Fellow defender Jonny Evans, who picked up a knock while playing for Northern Ireland, was also involved on Thursday. And the same applied to Sergio Reguilon and Sofyan Amrabat – Reguilon has been sidelined for United’s last four games, while Amrabat sat out Morocco’s matches against Liberia and Ivory Coast. Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are others who have been out of action due to injury, while Jadon Sancho has been training away from the first team “pending resolution of a squad discipline issue”.
