This Brand Put A Surprising, Stylish Spin On Strapless Bras—& I’m Here For It
Picture it: You’re wearing the most stunning low-back top or slinky dress… and your bra is sticking out. You try to shimmy the band down throughout the night, causing more annoyance and discomfort than anything else. But there must be a solution, right? While boob tape and self-adhesive bras are popular options, they might not offer enough support (or, in the case of boob tape, feel like a DIY project you have to complete before leaving the house). BAXXE offers a third option that seems so simple, yet so clever, we’re both delighted and wondering why no one has thought of it yet. Simply put, the brand designs bra bands that are meant to be seen — and actually enhance your look rather than detract from it.

Football rumours: Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku player swap bid hits snag
What the papers say Romelu Lukaku has reportedly agreed to personal terms in a move to Juventus this summer as Chelsea look to offload the striker and pick up a striker in a swap deal, the Star reports. Chelsea are eyeing Serbian Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus want more than just Lukaku as part of the deal, though, asking for an additional £35million for the 23-year-old. Manchester City and Chelsea are reportedly in the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, but the Daily Mail says there is confusion with his release clause. Widespread changes could be on the cards under Tottenham’s new manager Ange Postecoglou, with the Evening Standard reporting Hugo Lloris, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele and Bryan Gil are up for sale. The club are also interested in signing 19-year-old forward Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central, who is worth around £12million. West Ham’s pursuit of Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse may be coming to an end, according to the Guardian, with the club’s technical director against the move, despite manager David Moyes’ interest. Social media round-up Players to watch Harry Maguire: Everton now look like the favourites to sign the Manchester United defender, with Tottenham and West Ham also interested in the 30-year-old, Football Insider says. Tyler Adams: The Daily Mail says Aston Villa are open to activating the 24-year-old Leeds midfielder’s £25million release clause, with Chelsea also interested in his signature. Taylor Swift 'never beating the sorcery allegations' say fans after viral video
Taylor Swift has hilariously responded to witchcraft jokes after footage from her Argentina gig shows a perfectly timed plane flying over the stadium while she was singing a lyric about a plane. The last several weeks saw fans jokingly accuse the star of sorcery after a performance of her track 'Willow' looked as though she was performing a spell. Now, Swift has turned to X/Twitter writing: "Never beating the sorcery allegations." The clip shows the 33-year-old singing the lyrics from her 2022 track 'Labyrinth': "I thought the plane was going down/How'd you turn it right around." The footage then shows a plane flying over the stadium. Swifties flocked to the post, with one writing: "When you masterminded a little too hard……" "You somehow planned this," another joked, while a third added: "TAYLOR SWIFT WITCH CONFIRMED". "The plane watching you sing a sing about planes," one X user said. One person humoured that the plane was a "paid actor". It comes after Swift shared her first public kiss with NFL player Travis Kelce, which sent fans into a whirlwind. The clip surfaced on social media and showed Swift waving at fans after her Argentina show before spotting her boyfriend in the crowd. She runs over to Kelce, before hugging and kissing him. The crowd then erupts into cheers. Swift has also been present at Kelce's games too, with stats that go to show she is his "good luck charm". Broadcaster CBS shared a graphic titled 'You Belong with TE,' referencing Swift's song 'You Belong With Me'. It suggested that Kelce averaged 99 receiving yards per game, with it bumping up to 108 following Sunday's game. It then showed a separate post when Swift isn't in attendance at Kelce's game when he's "left to his own devices" – a reference to 'Anti-Hero' – with just 46.5 yards per game. Marriage proposal at Super Mario World goes viral for Luigi's reaction
A marriage proposal at Super Nintendo World has gone viral online due to the character Luigi’s hilarious reaction. Fans of the Nintendo games have been able to enjoy the Super Nintendo World theme park at Universal Studios in California since it opened in early 2023. For one superfan, he decided it was the perfect time and place for a wedding proposal and the clip was shared online after being caught on camera. In the video, a man and woman could be seen standing between the dressed-up characters of Mario and Luigi. He got on one knee and opened a ring box to pop the question. While the character of Mario displayed the appropriate level of excitement by mimicking a look of excitement and shock, the Luigi character simply stood there with his hands on his hips. When Luigi noticed what was going on, his reaction was still fairly muted and it has left viewers in hysterics. @bellabelli260 #nintendoworld #supermario #proposal #universalstudioshollywood #engagement #happilyeverafter #engagementring #supernintendoworld #mariobros #california #hollywood #supernintendoworldhollywood #supernintendo #peaches #mario #luigi #engaged One person commented: “Luigi: I do not see it.” “Luigi did NOT care,” said another. Someone else wrote: “Luigi not noticing till later is cannon.” Another commented: “LUIGI IS SENDING ME.” Others commented on the sound effects in the background that come from the Super Mario Bros video game. One TikToker argued: “Can you imagine being proposed to and in the background Mario is just blabbing about 'its Mario time!’” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter Have your say in our news democracy. Roy Hodgson ‘feeling better’ after missing Crystal Palace defeat at Aston Villa
Crystal Palace first-team coach Paddy McCarthy said Roy Hodgson is feeling better after the manager was forced to miss his side’s 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa. The 76-year-old was taken ill on Saturday morning and did not travel to Villa Park, but looked like he was going to receive the perfect tonic as his side led through Odsonne Edouard’s early second-half goal. However, Jhon Duran levelled for Villa in the 87th minute and then added-time goals from Douglas Luiz, a penalty that survived a rigorous pitchside check by referee Darren England, and Leon Bailey saw Villa take all three points in the Premier League clash. Despite the late heartache, Hodgson is on the mend. McCarthy, who took charge along with coach Ray Lewington, said: “He is feeling better, so we are hopeful that he can continue to feel better and be back with us sooner rather than later. “All the preparations were done with Roy. It was early, sort of between breakfast and the pre-match meal that he felt unwell, that is when we found out about it. We just continued as we had prepared. “Before the game we had contact and then there was a lot of stuff going on. It was before the game we had contact and we will obviously speak to him after the game.” There was over four minutes between referee England awarding a penalty for a foul by Chris Richards on Ollie Watkins and standing by his decision after being invited to check it by the VAR. England decided that a foul had taken place before the Palace defender won the ball. However, McCarthy says such a delay suggests it was not a foul. “To concede a goal in the 87th minute and then to concede a goal in controversial circumstances later on is disappointing,” he said. “If it takes five minutes to make a decision that tells you everything you need to know. People in the studio have asked him to go and have a look. Whatever he has seen on the monitor has not changed his mind.” Aston Villa equalled a post-war record of nine successive home league wins with their late turnaround, which was reward for an industrious performance. Boss Unai Emery said his side won because they used their hearts. “Today was a very different match, this is the 10th in a row we have won, nine in the Premier League and against Hibernian in the Conference League,” he said. “But it was completely different. We want to play like we played in the first half, but scoring goals because we deserved to score. “We weren’t playing the second half like I want but sometimes we have to use our heart and use our passions. We needed the referee giving us the minutes that he added and created chances in the second half when playing a different way. “I enjoyed it. It is difficult after we conceded the goal, they had one or two chances to score. But sometimes in my experience I know we have to take the decision of playing with the heart and more emotion than normal and today was like that.” Read More Charity boss speaks out over ‘traumatic’ encounter with royal aide Ukraine war’s heaviest fight rages in east - follow live Marco Silva talks up Fulham matchwinner Carlos Vinicius Brighton beat Manchester United to increase the pressure on Erik ten Hag Jason Roy sweating over World Cup place as England ‘regroup’ before naming squad

WhatsApp update stops people having to come up with good names for groups
WhatsApp will finally let people create group chats without having to come up with a clever name for them – or any name at all. Users will instead be able to just make a group and then have that group name itself after the people inside of it. WhatsApp suggested that the tool will be useful when “you need to create a group in a hurry, or you don’t have a group topic in mind”. It will be available for group chats with up to six people in them. The group names will be changed dynamically, depending on who is in the group. The group name will display differently for each user in it, depending on how they have people saved in their phone. If someone is added to a group with people who don’t have that person saved, then their phone number will show instead. Mark Zuckerberg announced the feature on Facebook. “Making it simpler to start WhatsApp groups by naming them based on who’s in the chat when you don’t feel like coming up with another name,” he wrote, sharing a picture of how the new groups will look. The feature is rolling out “globally over the next few days”, Meta said. It is one of a number of small tweaks that have been added to WhatsApp in recent weeks. Most recently, it fixed a major frustration that meant that pictures would be shrunk when they were sent within a group. The company is also quietly working on other features, including the addition of generative AI to create new stickers just by describing them.
