Ukrainian troops have gained a foothold in the southeastern village of Robotyne on the road to Tokmak, deputy defence minister Hanna Maliar said. The liberation of Robotyne, an important regional rail hub occupied by Russia, would be a milestone in Kyiv’s southward drive to reach the Sea of Azov. The next major settlement is the big regional city of Melitopol. Meanwhile the series of nightly drone attacks on Moscow continued for the sixth consecutive day as Russia said three objects were brought down over its capital in the early hours of Wednesday. Major airports in Moscow again suspended flights, for the second day in a row, after the drones reached the Moscow region. While no casualties were recorded, one of the downed drones smashed into an under-construction building and damaged windows in the central Moscow City Complex. The Russian defence ministry has blamed the attack on Ukraine but Kyiv typically does not comment on who is behind attacks on Russian territory. Both of them had stints at ITV - Dan Wootton used to be a showbiz reporter on Lorraine, while Eamonn Holmes presented This Morning alongside wife Ruth Langsford – and now, amid the ongoing controversy over broadcaster Phillip Schofield, Holmes has given an interview to Wootton on their new TV home, GB News. The chat comes after Schofield – another former This Morning host – resigned from ITV and admitted being “unfaithful” to his wife after having an “unwise, but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague. A couple who posted videos of themselves deliberately causing car crashes on YouTube and committed insurance ford have been jailed. Christopher and Kimberly Phelps from California uploaded videos on social media driving dangerously and claiming other drivers were responsible [via Dexerto]. They posted the videos on YouTube under the profile name “BLU3 GHO57”, and used it as leverage to pursue compensation from their insurance company. The videos typically received fewer than 100 views each, but there were around 62 dash cam videos posted on the channel of various collisions and dangerous near misses. An investigation was first launched after the California Department of Insurance uncovered the YouTube channel and discovered a video showing a “suspicious collision” which saw Christopher stop for no apparent reason before a crash. Christopher has been ordered to serve three years in jail. Kimberly was also sentenced to 90 days in weekend county jail and three years of supervised probation.
