Beyonce laughed at her own fumble as she got the words wrong during her sell-out show in Edinburgh on Saturday. In the eyes of her fans, performer and all-round icon Beyonce can do no wrong. But it seems even the superstar herself was caught off guard and had to laugh at her own on-stage error. The funny moment came during a performance of her track HEATED, which comes from her 2022 album Renaissance, which the world tour she is currently on is named after. In the song, the lyric mentions fashion designer Coco Chanel, with the words: “Cuff me, please, cause this ain't fair. Dripped in my pearls like Coco Chanel.” But, during her performance at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, Beyonce accidentally pronounced it “Coco Kernel” and immediately laughed at her own mistake while the crowd continued singing the rest of the song before she rejoined them. Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter The moment was shared by an unofficial Rennaisance tour account with the caption: “Beyoncé has the cutest reaction to messing up the ‘Heated’ verse tonight in Edinburgh.” Fans were happy to see the star having so much fun on her tour, which began on 10 May in Stockholm and is due to end on 27 September in New Orleans. “She’s so real for this,” one fan wrote. Another said: “She seems like she’s having a lot of fun this tour already and I love this for her.” Someone else argued: “Even her flops are legendary.” It comes after some suggested the star “threw shade” at Sweden after clips emerged appearing to show a lacklustre crowd in Stockholm. Everton appear to have accidentally revealed the identity of their next signing in a training clip posted to their official social media accounts. The video shows James Tarkowski and Dwight McNeil competing in a head-to-head duel but it is the off-camera voices that can be heard that have attracted attention. While McNeil and Tarkowski jostle in a game of tag, a coach is in conversation with his colleague and appears to say “we’ve got Jonny Evans coming in”. Evans is a 35-year-old centre-back who captained relegated Leicester last season but his contract expired at the end of June. He would appear to fit the experienced profile of player that Toffees boss Sean Dyche is targeting, after signing 38-year-old Ashley Young from Aston Villa earlier this week. The video was initially posted on Everton’s Instagram and Facebook pages and although it was swiftly taken down from Instagram, Twitter user @ITalkEverton brilliantly spotted the revelation and downloaded the clip before reposting on his own page with the message “Listen closely... does anyone else hear “We’ve got Jonny Evans coming in” ??” As of writing, the video is still live on Everton’s Facebook reels. Some users were sceptical that the comment had been added as a voiceover but @ITalkEverton was adamant they hadn’t doctored the clip. Others applauded the detective work and Specsavers tweeted: “Ok you don’t need to come in for a hearing test for at least six months”. The clip has since been viewed on Twitter more than 2.7m times and the proof will be seen in the coming days if 102-cap Northern Ireland international Evans does indeed join Dyche’s Everton revolution. The Toffees narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League as they finished 17th, just one place and two points above the drop, while Evans’ Leicester side came 18th to drop into the Championship just seven years after they stunningly won the Premier League title in one of the greatest sporting shocks of all time. Each and every year, even for the most dedicated of music lovers, Spotify Wrapped throws up countless surprises in your top artists and songs leading many to question just how it tallies what you listen to. The past few years Wrapped has arrived earlier and earlier, as reported by the Radio Times, so it's not surprise that its arrived on November 29th. Spotify have never officially said how they compile their data for Wrapped but a Reddit user in 2021 revealed how they believed it works. Your total time listening includes podcasts. Your top artists are calculated by total play counts rather than total time listening. If you apply this date to your own listening history then there is a chance you might discover what your Wrapped will look like this year although there is no guarantee.
