Andrew Tate tried to troll Amanda Holden and everyone pointed out the hypocrisy
Controversial influencer Andrew Tate attempted to troll Amanda Holden but everyone pointed out his hypocrisy. The bizarre crossover unfolded after Holden posted a photo of herself wearing a black bikini and standing under an outdoor shower. Holden shared the image on Twitter along with the caption: “Good morning.” Tate, who is currently charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women, responded to her tweet suggesting she is somehow unqualified to post content like that. He wrote: “You are a wife and a mother and you’re far past a teenager. There is no need for this post.” Sign up to our free Indy100 weekly newsletter But it wasn’t long before people pointed out Tate’s hypocrisy, as he regularly posts shirtless pictures, and criticised his misogynistic comment. One person commented: “This take would've been fine if it wasn't for your hypocrisy, considering you're a bald 40-year-old charged for human trafficking and rape, while still posting shirtless pics of yourself on social media, touch some grass, Tate.” Another said: “You’re a 36 yr old Dad that eats his tea topless with his mates whilst under house arrest on charges of rape, human trafficking & forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women, I’m thinking you’re deffo not in the best position to preach on righteousness here fella!” Tate is currently under house arrest in Romania where he faces serious charges of sexual exploitation along with his brother Tristan and two other associates. Information Commissioner urges people to share data to protect at-risk children
Information Commissioner urges people to share data to protect at-risk children
Organisations will not be punished by the UK’s data protection regulator for sharing information to protect young people at risk of harm, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has said. The data protection watchdog has published new guidance aimed at firms and frontline workers who it says may be scared to share information for fear of breaching data protection laws. The ICO said it was looking to reassure people working with children that they should share data with the relevant agencies if they had concerns, in the wake of a number of serious case reviews in the UK where children have died or been seriously injured through abuse or neglect – with poor information sharing being identified as a factor which contributed to the failures to protect children in those cases. “My message to people supporting and working with children and young people is clear: if you think a child is at risk of harm, you can share information to protect them,” Information Commissioner John Edwards said. “You will not get in trouble with the ICO for trying to prevent or lessen a serious risk or threat to a child’s mental and physical wellbeing. “Data protection law helps organisations share data when required. Our guide will support senior leaders to put strong policies, systems and training in place, so their staff are encouraged and empowered to share data in an appropriate, safe and lawful way.” The new guidance has been produced to raise awareness of the benefits of sharing information and to highlight how a child could be more at risk if information is not shared. The ICO said it was also developing a further suite of guidance on information sharing for safeguarding children aimed at specific sectors across the UK. Iceland volcano eruption update: Magma ‘very close’ to surface as residents ‘wait in suspense’
Iceland volcano eruption update: Magma ‘very close’ to surface as residents ‘wait in suspense’
Magma may have reached very high up in the Earth’s crust, according to Iceland’s meteorological office, which says people will have to “wait in suspense for the next few days” to see how events play out. “While there is still magma flow into the corridor, and while our data and models show that, that probability is imminent, and we really just have to wait in suspense for the next few days to see what happens,” Kristín Jónsdóttir, head of department at the Icelandic Meteorological Office, said. She said the decreasing earthquake activity over the last 24 hours could be a sign that magma has reached very high up in the earth’s crust, adding that the scenario is not unlike what was seen prior to a previous eruption in 2021. The Met Office said magmatic gas has been detected at a borehole in Svartsengi, signalling an imminent eruption of the Fagradalsfjall volcano over the coming days, with the town of Grindavik most at risk. “Hagafell is thought to be a prime location for an eruption,” the forecaster said. An eruption is now feared by many experts to be a case of when, not if. “I do think an eruption will take place, but the big question is when that might happen,” Dr Margaret Hartley, of the University of Manchester, told Live Science.
