LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tommy Lee's most famous relationship was with Pamela Anderson in the 1990s, but he was previously married to Heather Locklear, another famous television star. The marriage of the 'Dynasty' actor and the drummer of Motley Crue in 1986 confused many tabloid writers who were shocked to see the 24-year-old Locklear sleeping with the 23-year-old Lee. An early affair for well-known musician and ex-wife Locklear had reporters chasing after what seemed like an odd flame. There was a lot more to talk about because the flame fizzled out quickly.
Due to their infamous sex tape, which was leaked on the Internet in 1996, Lee and Anderson, with whom he shares his only two sons, are often brought up together. According to his current wife Brittany Furlan, despite all the attention about his relationship with Anderson, his second wife, actress Heather Locklear had his heart, as per Fox News.
'Tommy worships me'
According to People, Lee and Locklear allegedly met backstage at an REO Speedwagon concert. Lee was too hesitant to approach Locklear, so he requested someone to introduce him to her. Lee's well-known band Motley Crue was something Locklear had "barely heard" of, but the two hit it off right away. The couple then engaged in a quick relationship that resulted in their wedding in May 1986.
Lee was regarded as "the living incarnation of the naughty-boy ethic," according to People. He had the appearance and way of life of a troubled rocker and ran "on Jack Daniels and Marlboros." Locklear, fresh from her role in 'Dynasty,' was perceived as a spotless star on the rise. Although some people questioned how Lee's rocker lifestyle would fit with that of his wife, Locklear wasn't worried. She reportedly remarked early on in their marriage, "Tommy doesn't worship the devil; he worships me," per People.
But in the end, the difficulties in their relationship outweighed what they had in common. Lee reportedly admitted to an illicit relationship with adult movie actresses and they parted ways in 1993. "I'm not devastated or destroyed. It's mostly just sad," Locklear commented at the time. More than ten years later Lee revealed what led to their marriage's breakdown.
The two seem to have reconciled their differences regarding their previous union. On the day they would have celebrated their anniversary in 2016, Locklear even shared a steamy photo of the pair on Instagram with the remark, "Happy 30 years baby."

In 2004, Lee talked about his previous unions while promoting his biography, 'Tommyland.' The rock singer was asked if he had been faithful while married to Locklear during his appearance on '20/20' in October of that year. According to ABC News, Lee replied, "Absolutely. When I'm in love ... I don't even look." Shortly later, Lee contradicted himself and said that their divorce was due to his illicit affairs.
In an interview for Blender's December 2004 issue, the Motley Crue drummer talked about his multiple liaisons with adult film celebrities. Lee admitted to Blender, "eah, f***ing with porno stars ruined my marriage." He continued, "That was in '93, right before I got divorced from Heather [Locklear]." When asked how many women overall he has slept with, the 'Girls, Girls, Girls' musician hesitated for an answer with a figure. "F***. I don't know." He said, "Two...hundred?"
Heather Locklear 'was the love of his life'
The entire world is aware of Lee's, 60, brief courtship and subsequent marriage to Pamela Anderson. According to his present spouse, Brittany Furlan, Locklear, 61, was indeed the love of his life. "Everyone glorifies his relationship with Pam, but he was married to Heather for [nearly] eight years," she said to People magazine, even referring to her as "the one that got away."
She admits, "She was the love of his life. I see it, because she's just a fun, sweet, caring, awesome person.… Tommy even says he messed up in that relationship. He cheated on her. To this day, that's why they're still really good friends," she claimed of the former pair. "I yell at my husband, I'm like, 'I can't believe you cheated on her. She’s so cool,'" She says about Locklear, with whom she has become friends.
"Heather and I are very close," Furlan continues on her own friendship with her husband's ex, "She's awesome, I love her. I think she's the most kind, down-to-earth person. We met through Tommy, obviously, and became close. She's just very cool, very nice, just supportive and just a cool chick all around."
