NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Lady Gaga's father has taken action against a number of migrants who have 'taken over' his affluent New York City neighborhood and are allegedly making the area a hot bed of crime.

Joe Germanotta, the pop star's father, resides in The Pythian on the Upper West Side, a short distance from the Stratford Arms Hotel, which has been converted into a shelter for 500 migrants.

Germanotta now asserts that these new neighbors are to blame for the streets becoming swamped with prostitutes, drinking, and risky behavior.

The Big Apple is seeing an average of 2,300 migrants arrive each week, which is straining the city's limited resources and the welfare system, as mentioned by Daily Mail.

How old is Lady Gaga's father?

The father of 'Bloody Mary' hitmaker is 66 years old. He told New York Post, "There's now 500 migrants living in that dormitory."

He added, "That's when all the mayhem began. Hookers are coming and going. In the mornings, you see prostitutes coming out of the building."

Germanotta further explained his complaints, "The worst part's at night. The noise. It starts at about 10 o'clock, and it'll go until 4 in the morning. Playing music and racing their motocross and motorbikes up and down the streets."

Germanotta claimed that none of the UWS inhabitants were informed about the migrant shelter, and as a result, the sidewalks which were once neat are now covered in junk and needles.

While Germanotta acknowledged that the migrants may be kind individuals, he claimed that their antisocial behavior was becoming an issue and that those who chose to house them in the building had "screwed" the neighborhood.

'They have basically taken over'

Germanotta, a New Jersey native, claimed that they are even catcalling young girls aged 14. The American Music and Dance Academy used to be housed in the building that now serves as a migrant center.

"It was a stealth operation. They were bused in the middle of the night, like when they flew them into Westchester, they didn't want anybody to know what was going on," Germanotta went on.

The restaurant's owner has noticed a drop in the neighborhood's standard of living since the migrants' arrival.

He advocated for security in his area, saying, "Put the proper security in place, have a police presence, and a code of conduct." They're guests in our neighborhood, and they have basically taken over."
