LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ alum Braunwyn Windham-Burke is ready for the "next chapter" of her life after finalizing the divorce from her husband of 23 years, Sean Burke.
Per PEOPLE, the reality TV couple’s divorce was finalized on Friday, November 17. According to the divorce settlement, the couple will be sharing the custody of their seven children on a 50/50 basis.
The former couple are parents to Bella, 23; Rowan, 21; Jacob, 17; twins Caden and Curren, 10; Koa, 8; and Hazel, 5. Sean was previously directed to pay $5,000 a month as spousal support and $6,000 per month in child support.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke cherishes her 'second chance' at life
Braunwyn Windham-Burke's divorce also marks the beginning of her new life with fiancee Jennifer Spinner. In an interview with the news outlet, she said, "Today feels like the first day of the rest of my life."
The 45-year-old added, "You know, you go your whole life with everyone telling you what you need to do to be happy. And it gets to a certain point where you say, 'No, actually — this is what I want to do. I'm going to live for me.' And I'm thrilled that at 45 years old, I get a second chance to live for me."
In 2021, Braunwyn came out as a lesbian and started dating Spinner in mid-2022 after they met on Instagram.
During the interview, the 'RHOC' star added, "I can finally walk down the aisle for real now. I'm really excited to be able to start my next chapter."
Braunwyn also noted that previously she and Spinner were sharing a house with Sean in Tennessee, but now they have decided to move out of the residence.
She mentioned, "We moved out here and never really anticipated Sean would be moving in with us, but we tried the whole 'bird nest parenting' thing and it just isn't working."
"So Jen and I are moving into our own home in December, and the kids will be moving back and forth. It's within walking distance so it'll just be better for everyone involved," added the mother of seven.

After the divorce was finalized, Braunwyn Windham-Burke took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone. Sharing a photo of herself and Jennifer Spinner, she wrote, "Cheers to the first day of the rest of our lives❤️ I feel like I can finally breathe again. @hashtag_blehssed #christmasmarket #germany #dresden #happyholidays."
In another post from Berlin, Germany, she stated, "Berlin looks good on us. For those of you that don't know, this is where @hashtag_blehssed lived for many years when we met (on Instagram,) I can see why she loves this city....I'm so glad it'll always be a part of us. #berlin #germany #justdivorced coat from @janetlynnhk #secondchapter."
