NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly lashed out at US Soccer star Megan Rapinoe for failing to condemn Hamas’ attack on Israel and instead raising funds for Gaza and not for people “suffering in Israel.”
Kelly addressed Rapinoe’s anti-Israel stance in the ongoing war and slammed her for her cruel hypocrisy.
The veteran journalist pointed out that the US Soccer star is married to an Israeli-American and claimed that she refuses to feel for the people and families who suffered due to the Hamas attacks despite this.
Megyn Kelly calls out Megan Rapinoe for her stance on Israel-Hamas war
Kelly quickly drew the attention of her viewers towards Rapinoe’s policy of allowing male candidates in the women’s category once they transition, calling her out for her absurd behavior.
“Here’s a woman who has made millions off her soccer career and when she’s leaving the game, does she reach back and say, ‘I’m going to watch out for the girls coming up behind me who are powerless in terms of their voices? No.’”
Megyn Kelly further said, “She says, ‘men you are welcome to play against women in our sport as long as you declare yourself female. You’re in and screw anybody that says that this is a problem.’”
Kelly then discussed Rapinoe’s take on the Israel-Hamas war and stated that despite being married to an Israeli-American, the US Soccer star refuses to sympathize with Israel.
“Now here she is married to an Israeli-American. She just says you know what, forget that problem, I really want to raise money for the suffering children in Gaza”
The news anchor lost her cool and shouted, “How about the suffering families in Israel right now? Even a thought for them? No.”
Kelly added, “I’m so over this woman. She’s a malignant narcissist and she should never be given endorsements. All of those companies should cancel.”
Fans call for boycotting companies that support Megan Rapinoe
Kelly’s incessant rant on Rapinoe’s stance on the Israel-Hamas war angered fans as well. Even they called for boycotting companies supporting the US soccer star.
One wrote, “Boycott the companies that support her,” while a second said, “The American people should cancel the companies that she endorses.”
A third stated, “I have never bought another thing she endorsed just after she kneeled. Starting with Subway.”
Yet another added, “Rapinoe should be deported,” as a fifth person quipped, “I make it a point to not buy anything associated with her.
