LONDON, ENGLAND: Rumors have surfaced that Halle Bailey and her partner, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, better known by his stage name DDG, are planning to start a family.
DDG, 26, posted several photos and videos from their date night in a London casino on social media on Monday, October 16.
Fans were drawn to one particular video, though, as the rapper seemed to be hinting that the couple might have secretly married.
Recently, photos obtained by The Shade Room showed the Disney actress during a Santa Monica, California outing, with what looked like a growing baby bump under her baggy clothes.
What did DDG say that baffled online viewers?
DDG celebrated Halle, 23, on his Snapchat by sharing their victories and expressing his pride in her performance in multiple games.
He recorded himself saying, "Don't forget. These are euros too, these aren't even dollars. So 500 is really like 9,000." Halle's laughter could also be heard in the background by fans.
His caption referred to Halle as his "wife." He exclaimed, "YEAAA WIFEY SMACKED EM TOO."
As per The US Sun, the 'Little Mermaid' actress donned a large white fleece jacket and her rapper boyfriend DDG flaunted his girlfriend's casual wardrobe in his other social media posts.
Bailey and DDG have been dating at least since January 2022. The pair first met while attending Usher's Las Vegas residency, and they have since expressed their love for one another.
Halle Bailey in baggy clothes sparks pregnancy rumors
Fans have been picking up "clues" for months that Halle is expecting her first child with DDG. Halle covered her stomach with a plush white cushion during their travel to the UK.
Halle has been wearing baggy clothing to cover up her stomach for the past two weeks. Halle and her sister Chloe attended the MTV Video Music Awards in September, where the singer covered her tummy with loose pleats on an oversized orange halter gown.
Following her appearance in one of DDG's videos with what appeared to be a baby bump, fans began to speculate whether the Chloe x Halle member was pregnant.
She even avoided being photographed on the red carpet, according to sources who spoke with Page Six at the time, preferring to concentrate on performing the show.
Halle allegedly tried to conceal her stomach from partygoers, according to a source at the VMAs. According to an insider, the "orange dress flow was an indicator she was trying to hide."
The insider added, "She would keep her distance when someone got too close, and she gave out more handshakes than her [usual] enduring embraces."
However, none of the speculations about pregnancy and marriage have been confirmed by Halle or her partner DDG.
Picking up on clues online fans hoping Halle and DDG already married
Fans and followers of the 'Little Mermaid' actress are reading between the lines and hoping the aforementioned speculations were true, with one X (formerly Twitter) user saying, "DDG and Halle Bailey are married My ship".
A second X user exclaimed, "I hope DDG and Halle get married and stay together cuz 1. They look happy together and 2. I wanna see all the haters get sad".
Account Pop Zone wrote on X, "Halle Bailey and DDG should get married at this point".
"I already feel Halle & DDG been married so if she’s pregnant…so what, that man adores her and treats her amazingly meanwhile y’all be waiting for a n***a to text back," said another fan.
Another one explained, "The youth said they want to be married and have a family straight out of high school. Halle and DDG are on brand whether y’all like it or not. They’re not worried about their career obviously."
