Is XDefiant Beta on Steam?

The XDefiant Open Beta is now live, and fans want to know if it is available on Steam.

XDefiant, developed by Ubisoft, is a FPS game coming to compete with Call of Duty and Apex Legends. With former two-time Call of Duty World Champion, Patrick "ACHES" Price involved in the game's design, XDefiant caught the eye of many fans during its early Closed Beta sessions.

Now, XDefiant is finally open to the public to test before the game's full release sometime this summer. Players can download and access the game on all platforms, including PC. But those heading to Steam to search for the game might be in for a bit of a surprise.

Is XDefiant Beta on Steam?

The XDefiant Beta is not on Steam. Instead, PC players must download the game from Ubisoft Connect. If you do not have Ubisoft Connect, install the application to your PC and log in with your Ubisoft account.

Then, simply search the game and begin the free download. As you wait, you can link your Ubisoft account with your Twitch account to earn free rewards, including two weapon skins, that will carry over from the Beta to the full release.

As of now, it is unclear if XDefiant will be available on Steam in the future.
