BOCA RATON, FLORIDA: During Adin Ross' latest livestream on the Kick platform, while he was engaged in an IRL vlog-style broadcast with N3on, Darren "IShowSpeed" reached out to Adin via phone.
During their conversation, Darren mentioned that Adin had undergone personal growth and transformation over the course of one year.
The YouTuber, who has shared a longstanding friendship with Adin, was eager to discuss Ross' upcoming birthday. However, IShowSpeed persistently inquired about it, as it was clear that his fellow streamer had undergone noticeable changes.
IShowSpeed tells Adin Ross he has ‘changed’
Following a brief conversation about Adin Ross' upcoming birthday, IShowSpeed conveyed to Adin that he had indeed noticed a change in him.
“You're not the same person, bro,” Speed said.
Fans may recall that both content creators initially crossed paths on Twitch, where they launched their careers. Interestingly, it was during one of Adin's streams that Darren received the news of his permanent banishment from the platform.
Subsequently, their collaborative efforts became less frequent, although they maintained their communication.
A notable instance of their continued support for each other was when IShowSpeed was apprehended live on broadcast last year, and Adin went as far as covering his bail.
Earlier this year, Ross publicly called out IShowSpeed for what he perceived as avoidance, citing allegations that the YouTube streamer's management had blacklisted him.
This incident was just one in a series of online disputes between the two, which has left their relationship in a turbulent state.
Adin Ross' reply to IShowSpeed
As Adin Ross will celebrate his birthday on October 11, Speed picked up the phone and said, “Bro, why are you different now? You're super different than before. You're super different now.”
The question caught Adin Ross somewhat off guard. While sitting next to N3on, he denied undergoing any significant changes and conveyed to his fellow streamer that he shouldn't be passing judgment, as they hadn't communicated in a year.
“We haven't hung out in a year. You don't even know that I am super different. We haven't hung out,” Ross said.
However, IShowSpeed remained relentless and continued to press Adin, asserting that he could discern the changes in him just through their conversation.
“No, but I can still tell over the call that you're different. Like, you experience something different. Like bro, you're different now. I can tell,” Speed added.
At this point, Adin finally relented, mentioning that he had gone through a lot recently but without delving into specific details.
“I mean, I've been through a lot this year, we haven't spoken a lot. Maybe, if you saw me personally,” Ross said.
