NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Joe Alwyn appeared to have moved on from Taylor Swift months after their split and has "no interest" to reconcile with her. The pair broke up in March after six years of dating and the singer soon began dating rock star Matty Healy.
"Joe’s not happy with her. Things were not working between them, and he’s relieved to be out of the relationship," said an insider while another source said Alwyn found the singer moving on with Healy "tacky and weird in the extreme," reported Radar Online.
Alwyn is furious with Swift's latest breakup song
The insider also shared that Alwyn is angry with the songstress who seemingly wrote about him in her latest breakup song, 'You're Losing Me'. "My heart won’t start anymore for you ‘cause you’re losing me," Swift sings in the track and apparently connected to her relationship as she sang, "You don’t know what you got until it’s gone."
The British actor is furious about being one among many of Swift's exes on whom she creates her work. "Apparently Taylor always said she wouldn’t do that, so it really added salt to the wounds. He has no interest in getting back with her," said the source.
Alwyn found Swift's romance with Healy 'embarrassing'
Before Swift's breakup with Healy, an insider told the outlet that Alwyn "finds it very embarrassing and disappointing — especially when she’s flaunting this tacky new romance. The hypocrisy and sheer rudeness of it all are off the charts. He’s not the type to kiss and tell, but he’s not a pushover either."
An insider claimed the 'Love Story' singer is "single" now after she recently broke up with Healy after they dated for several weeks. The pair broke up after she faced criticism over dating the rocker for his troubled past which also included his struggles with heroin addiction.
According to sources, the songwriter's father Scott, and her close pal Gigi Hadid were worried for Swift's safety and they kept a close eye on 'The 1975' bandmate. "They’re concerned he could be bad news because he’s got a dark past," an insider stated at the time.
"Scott is wary of any man Taylor dates and questions if Matty has an agenda or is using her for fame. He’s definitely keeping a close eye on Matty — mainly because of his wild past," the source revealed before the duo's split.
