Joe Rogan calls Dylan Mulvaney 'confused', explains why Target lost nearly $9.3B amid Bud Light controversy

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Among the most widely-recognized voices in combat sports is that of Joe Rogan's. He has worked with the UFC for more than two decades and also operates 'The Joe Rogan Experience', regarded as the biggest podcast on the globe.

The seasoned UFC analyst mentioned Target's LGBTQIA+ controversy in one of his most recent podcast broadcasts. Rogan spoke about why one of the biggest stores in the US experienced a financial setback.

‘Confused person’

Bud Light and Target have received a lot of criticism for their initiatives towards the LGBTQIA+ community. When Bud Light joined hands with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, there was outrage, and Rogan called her a "confused person." In the same vein, many people objected to Target's Pride Month merchandise.

During a segment on the 'The Joe Rogan Experience', Rogan said, “Target lost billions of dollars. Because they tried to have this Pride selection.” It's important to note that Bud Light sales decreased by 29.5% in the week ending May 20 while Target suffered a $9.3B loss due to a decline in share prices because of the controversy.

‘There's a lot of just f*****g real weirdness’

"We're seeing that now where we never saw that before, where people are going, 'Enough. Stop shoving this down everybody's throat.' When I go to Target, I don't want to see like f*****g tuck pants, where they're designed to help you tuck your d**k. That's not normal, and I don't want that right in front of everybody. It's weird," Rogan said on his show.

Rogan added, “There's a lot of just f*****g real weirdness with this group of people that is trying to like change the way people view sexuality and gender and all these different things. It's like they're proselytizing.”

In an episode where he and his guests drank Bud Light, Rogan previously offered his opinion on the controversy surrounding the beer brand. Stating that the criticism will "hang in there for a long time," Rogan said, “One of those cultural things, this will be. A brand has never before suffered such a blow. This is significant,” he added.

Rogan and his guests stated that Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light's parent company, will likely receive less attention as a result of the large number of businesses displaying support for Pride Month, observed every June.
