AUSTIN, TEXAS: Dylan Mulvaney was the target of Joe Rogan's latest jab, this time labeling the trans influencer as "mentally ill" and an "attention w****" after she finally spoke out about the Bud Light boycott. The rapper and actor 'Ice Cube' appeared as a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience, where they spoke about the Bud Light boycott.
Early in April, Mulvaney's partnership with Bud Light provoked a significant backlash and demands for a boycott, which is still ongoing three months later. "The only time [capital] respects opinions is when people boycott s*** and it works like this Bud Light thing, and now people are like, ‘Don’t do that again," Rogan referred to the sharp decline in brand sales after April 1, when Mulvaney began promoting the beer on her social media channels.

'Are they trying to take down some of our most iconic American brands?'
“Who controls Bud Light? That’s the question,” Ice Cube replied. “Why would they make a dumb decision like that? Are they trying to ruin Bud Light? Are they trying to take down some of our most iconic American brands?” Rogan attributed the pressure on businesses to embrace so-called "ESG" standards — environmental, social, and governance — and claimed that Bud Light's activities demonstrated its disconnect from "regular people."
"Take a brand like Bud Light", said Rogan before adding "It’s for blue-collar drinking people and they like to watch football and drink Bud Light and then all of a sudden you have this mentally ill person who’s just an attention whore.” Rogan then made reference to the widely shared video of Kid Rock shooting cases of Bud Light with an assault weapon. "Once Kid Rock shoots your cans, you’ve got real problems,” Rogan said.
Rogan also criticized Bud Light's decision to sponsor the Toronto Pride event
Rogan's latest response came after Mulvaney shared a video with her 1.8 million Instagram followers, expressing her profound loneliness and criticizing Anheuser-Busch for their lack of support in the aftermath of the failed campaign. In response, Anheuser-Busch countered Mulvaney's claims, by stating, "We are committed to the programs and partnerships we have forged over decades with organizations across a number of communities, including those in the LGBTQ+ community." Rogan also criticized Bud Light's decision to sponsor the Toronto Pride event, labeling it as "silly." He and Ice Cube then shifted their attention to Target, the retailer that faced boycott calls over its Pride-themed merchandise.
'People are sick of this s**t'
“I think that’s an ESG thing, and Target lost billions of dollars,” Rogan said. “Because people are sick of this s**t. They’re sick of social things that are controversial, getting stuffed into your face and where you have to accept it, and people are like ‘I don’t wanna accept it. I’m just here for f—ing toilet paper," he added.
In the previous month, Rogan criticized Bud Light for its collaboration with Mulvaney, as he expressed during a podcast episode featuring comedian Theo Von: "Imagine this, you're just gonna send a f****** can to some confused person," Rogan remarked before adding "You send that person a f***** can with their face on, and your company loses $20 billion. That is wild s–, man." Back in April, he referred to Mulvaney as an "attention whore" while discussing the company's unsuccessful attempt to distance itself from its traditional "frat culture."
